Update 11.20 will introduce several long-awaited QoL features and changes, such as Siege mock battles performed by Clan members to test their own defenses, opposing Team’s Relics becoming visible in PvP, Instant Tag Team Arena Battles, and more besides.
The Update Highlights Article below will provide a closer look at these changes.
Siege: In-Clan Test Battles
Among all requests we’ve seen for the Siege mode, the option to test Defense Teams may be the most frequent. And with Update 11.20, it’ll become possible at last!
All of this will take place during the Prep Phase. Once a Defense Team has been installed, anyone in the Clan can try to fight it just by clicking the new ‘Test The Defense’ button next to the Champion lineup in the garrison slot.
i
There are no limits to how many times you attack or how many Teams you test, nor the order in which you do so - meaning you can test any Defense Team in a Building from the start rather than fight your way through them as an Attacker has to when the Siege begins in earnest. Any Bonuses, Traps, or Conditions that have been activated prior to the test will take effect in this Battle. You can’t, however, test your own Teams, and will have to rely on your Clanmates to do so. Nor are there any rewards for winning the fight.
Battle reports will be available, but only to the owner of the Defense Team and the Attacker. Only one report is saved, replacing older ones if several players test the same Team over and over.
Relic Visibility In PvP
Making the opposing Team’s Relics visible in Arena and Siege Battles is another frequent request, and we intend to fulfil it in the coming Update. As of 11.20, you’ll see a new ‘View Relics’ button on the Champion selection screen before Classic, Tag Team, Live Arena, and Siege Battles. Tapping it will showcase each Relic equipped by the Champions on the other Team (in their respective slots) and provide you with information on what that Relic does.
i
Furthermore, we will make the same information available in the Battle Info tab after the Battle begins, and you’ll see the Relic’s icon and name pop-up in Battle whenever it activates.
Tag Team Arena Quick Battles
The new Update PvP improvements don’t end with Relics - we’ll also introduce Quick Battles for the Tag Team Arena. In order to unlock this feature, you need to progress to the Silver Tier I and above. After that, you merely need to tap the Quick Battle checkbox to make use of it.
i
All Quick Battles will be calculated in Auto mode. You’ll see a disclaimer pop-up and get a chance to opt out or disable the pop-up with the ‘Don’t Show Again’ checkbox. Once Quick Battle is activated, the game will calculate each Round and display the results. Green icons show victories in the Rounds, red icons show defeats.
i
Points and rewards are distributed in the same way as with manual Tag Team Arena Battles
QoL: Iron Twins Fortress & Soul Merchant
Two other important improvements in the upcoming Update will concern the Iron Twins Fortress.
Super Raids will become available for this Dungeon.
Soul Merchant will be improved by increasing the number of Legendary Champion Split Souls by 2 (from 4 to 6) and doubling the number of daily refreshes.
As of the new Update, Soul Merchant will refresh at 00:00 UTC, 06:00 UTC, 12:00 UTC, and 18:00 UTC.
Miscellaneous
We’ll introduce a Filter that allows you to sort Gemstones by Type, Rarity, whether they’re in use, and whether they’re new.
A new Filter will also be introduced to the Tavern. It allows you to hide Champions used in Fusions or display those Champions alone, depending on what you need.
Reworked Gear will be marked with a special icon next to its Rarity plaque.
Equipped Relics will be marked with the avatar of the Champion who currently uses them. We’ll also add an option to hide equipped Relics in the Filters drop-down menu.
i
The Leaderboards refresh indicator will be adjusted so that only players in the Top 100 will see it.
Minor UI changes in the Tag Team Arena menu to display the number of weekly Battles you need to fight to remain in the current Tier.
Something that we are starting to need more and more are addiotnal champion tags and allowing champions to have multiple tags, we need clan boss tags for our demon lord, chimera, hydra teams which we only have a 1-3 tag for moving gear around from team to to team. Also grim forest needs to have an automatic tag for Normal and Hard that gets assigned to the decks when they are selected and set and have them expire upon the reset of grim forest
Finally, TTA quick battles. I was hoping this would come, I barely can run TTA due to the time it takes with my work/life schedule conflicts.
For further QoL, I'd love to see the name of the gear preset, if one is equipped, on the champion page so I don't need to go into gear preset manager to verify each champion has the right preset.
I'm also hoping that when selling gear it will tell us WHICH gear is in a preset or just let us filter out preset gear completely please. The game already knows it's in a preset so the tag exists to allow it to filter out.
I dont understand why people need to see the relic? Bye bye to the surpris effect , terrible updat e right after terrible update ( mercurial set ) ... pvp getting bad and boring day after day lol

Agree that it kills surprise and relics shouldn't be shown...
All other changes especially Siege mock battles!? AWESOME
Not happy with the showing relics in Live Arena. Now I'll have to put Wands on everyone, as Wands on 3 are now useless. You did NOT think that one through, really bad change. It's not too late to come to your senses and cancel it.
All of the QoL updates are great, except for the one about showing the relics that the opposing team in arena/siege is wearing. I am not aware of anyone who has requested such, no one in my clan has requested such, and I'm not aware of any content creators asking for such. Not showing the opposing team what gear/relic your team has on has always been a part of the game. I would thus ask that Raid keep it how its been: don't show the relics. It seems to me that if anyone has requested such, it is new, early, or mid game players who simply do not know relics well and may lose more often in arena and siege. Lastly, its worth noting that this is a double edged sword: players no longer benefit from their own relics being concealed, and that deprives players of an important benefit of game play. Clearly, new, early, and mid game players who don't have many relics or good relics stand to benefit from this change the most, and that likely indicates who has been requesting the change. Again, no one in my clan and no content creator that I am aware of has requested such, and we are all end game players.
