Hey Raiders! We have an important update about the Champion of the current Mixed Fusion event - Sanguine Maria.
We acknowledge that the mechanics of Sanguine Maria do not work according to the role we intended for this Champion. Due to the almost incessant series of strikes that she is able to deliver with her A1 to bosses, she can deal with high-level PvE content much more easily than she is supposed to, all the while receiving minimal, if any, assistance from other Champions. Even though she needs to be built in a very specific way to show such spectacular PvE performance, it puts her too much out of line with the role we initially designed her for.
Thus, we decided to adjust Maria's skills, all the while aiming to retain her value for Arena-like encounters:
If all goes well, we plan to activate the described changes in a week or two.
Have a great day ahead!
Just some questions for ya to think about
Why did you guys wait 3 hours after summon rush started to post this?
Why can't we play this game the way we want to play it?
Why can't you see what the your player base does with the champion before nerfing her?
Why is it gonna take until the fusion ends for the nerfs to come in?
Are we just supposed to trust that we arn't gonna get screwed over?
Dear Plarium team,
You can't be serious about the adjustment to Bloody Maria, can you?
You release a new fusion and then realise after the events have started that it's too good?
I would assume that your developers tested the fusion extensively beforehand and revised it accordingly. At least, that's what I believed until today.
And then you see content creators on YouTube testing the new champion in absolute endgame gear with a six-star soul and nine Merciless pieces, and you decide that the damage is too high.
The vast majority of players will never reach these values.
As a low spender, I have to save up for many resources for a while, for example for sacred shards. Today, I spent six of them for virtually nothing because I'm no longer doing the fusion.
Once again, thanks for nothing.
