All You Need to Know About the Recent Changes to Chimera
And you need to know a lot 😉
With the latest update, we decreased the damage requirement for some Chimera Trials! Below, you’ll find some details on each Chimera Form.
🐏Ram Form
- Damage the Chimera while it is under a [Fear] or [True Fear] debuff. Only counts damage from skills. (DMG requirement decreased on Nightmare and Ultranightmare Boss Difficulties).
- Damage the Chimera within 3 of its turns while it is under a [Decrease DEF] debuff and your Champions are under [Perfect Veil] buffs. (DMG requirement decreased on Brutal, Nightmare, and Ultranightmare Boss Difficulties).
- Damage the Chimera while it is under a [Weaken] debuff and your Champions are under [Increase C. RATE] or [Increase C. DMG] buffs. Only counts damage from skills. (DMG requirement decreased on ALL Difficulties, except for Easy).
- Deplete the Chimera's Duel bar within 5 turns. (DMG requirement decreased on ALL Difficulties).
On top of it, we decreased the number of [Stun] debuffs required for the following Trial on ALL difficulties:
- Block [Stun] debuffs using [Block Debuffs], [Intercept], or [Stone Skin] buffs within 5 of the Chimera's turns.
🦁Lion Form
- Absorb damage using [Shield] buffs. Will not count surplus damage. (DMG requirement decreased on ALL Difficulties).
- Block damage using [Block Damage] or [Unkillable] buffs. (DMG requirement decreased on ALL Difficulties).
- Damage the Chimera using [Reflect Damage] buffs, [Pain Link] debuffs, or passive Reflect Damage effects. (DMG requirement decreased on ALL Difficulties).
🐍Viper Form
- Damage the Chimera with [Poison] debuffs while it is also under a [Poison Sensitivity] debuff. (DMG requirement decreased on ALL Difficulties).
Let’s move to the next topic in the Chimera section!
With the latest release, we fixed a bug related to how one of the Lion Trials was counted. However, due to an oversight, this fix was not included in the Release Notes.
The Lion Trial — “Place 6/8/10 debuffs on the Chimera within 5/4/3/2 of its turns. One of the debuffs must be a [Decrease RES] debuff.” — had been functioning incorrectly since Chimera was first released. Previously, if the [Decrease RES] debuff was applied after the previous challenge was completed, this trial would auto-complete, even if the full conditions had not been met. It now works in line with the description: you must have 6/8/10 active debuffs on the Chimera at the same time, and one of them must be [Decrease RES]. The debuffs do not need to be unique — any type counts — but all 6/8/10 must be active simultaneously, including [Decrease RES].
Last but not least, to wrap up the Chimera section of our Digest, here’s a tip from the devs on how to deal with the Ram Chimera’s passive, Unbreakable Focus. There’s a Rare Blessing called Nature’s Bounty that converts [Fear] into [True Fear], which may offer a little help against Ram.
Bugs and Fixes
- Team Presets Issue. You may receive an error while setting or editing a Team Preset in the game. It's a known issue, and our developers are working on a fix.
- Some Mythical Champions, which you encounter as opponents in the Hard Faction Wars, lose their HP bars when transforming into another form. It is a visual bug, which we’ll fix in the next big release.
- Bug on Hard Faction Wars. An error message occurs during the battle when trying to complete the quest "Reduce XXXX enemies’ HP by 50% with one skill" with a multi-hit attack. We’ve already released the hotfix version 10.55.3. Make sure you have installed the latest game version to get rid of the nasty bug.
- Sometimes, during Tag Team Arena battles, Skills are not working, or the skill button does not activate. This will be fixed in the next big release. Meanwhile, to avoid this, please do not press the Auto button when switching between battles in the Tag Team Arena. It is better to do this during the final damage animation before the team's victory or defeat. Also, you can click the Auto button a couple of times, and the battle state should recover and continue validly.
Advanced Quests System Updates: A Few More Clarifications
- The Advanced Quest “Use 1 Hydra key” cannot be swapped with “Use 1 Chimera key” because these quests come from different quest pools, so no surprises there!
- “Use 6 Fortress Keys” is a tricky quest. It may appear even after you’ve already used your keys, unlike Hydra or Chimera Quests. To avoid missing out, please make sure to check/refresh your Advanced Quests before entering the Iron Twins Dungeon.

As a new player the hero path killed me, and still didn't even get half way, very disappointed, felt like a huge waste of time and resources, was excited to grind for balar but it felt like i was expected to spend on shards over grinding for dungeon points, was it even possible to get that many event points for balance with out summoning shards, heck I didn't even get half way, or I would have bought the extra points just to get balar, now I can't be part of any events cause I'm exaughsted, awesome game, greedy event towards new

Those four star basalts are locked behind the worst content, which is highly frustrating. In chimera, the dmg required to deplete the Chimera's duel bar was lowered but I can't see that has impacted the practical abilty to complete this quest. First, the duel target cannot die at any point. Second, you’re basically down a champion because they’re locked to a1’s, so you have to do it with a 4 man team. Third the boss takes half damage, unless it’s under fear, from everyone who is not the duel target. And fourth, 1% of the bosses HP on unm is 16 million. Not to mention the reflect damage passive which makes damaging the boss very difficult, basically requiring block damage or unkillable. Edit: Oh, yeah, you also have to beat the first two trials before you even get to this one and the 2nd trial has to be done on all 5 turns of Ram so you can't even try this one until the second (and last) rotation of Ram. I searched YouTube and the internet for anyone posting a vid or team that has successfully completed this trial. I couldn't find one post or vid. None. I have a YT channel and wanted to make a vid to show how but can't find anyone who has. Can't tell you how disingenous it is to say there is a 4* basalt available but put it behind such an impossible quest.

In the Masteries when asking to get all scrolls, shouldn't the Gems requirments be relative to the amount of scrolls needed to unlock the champions final masteries?
example: If a champion had half the scrolls already, and only require Red Scrolls to unlock all Masteries, The Gems needed to get all Gems could be 400 not the full amount of 800 for half the amount of scrolls needed.
Maybe?
