Just updated on iPhone X. Brand new phone. Will not load. Just black screen then crash. I better get my login rewards. Please fix.

This is a problem I run into with MCOC. You guys need to EXTENSIVELY test your updates. On every platform. Things like this can really kill a game. If you don’t push out a hot fix today it’s going to get ugly!!!

same after 1.9 can’t log in, black screen and then quit , double tap home button still can see the game stuck in the 1.8 need update loading screen, plz fix this

Game won’t load. Running on iPhone 7+ iOS 12.3.1

Was able to play earlier when updating and now have the black screen of DOOM. It was running fine and then the first time the game was interupted by an incoming phone call it went black. I got the game back for a little while after that and then another incoming call interrupted the game and now it is BLACK screen again. Any fixes coming our way?

Apparently devs don’t care that their game is completely unplayable for most of their base. *shrugs* better luck next time right guys.

Also experiencing the same issue as stated by everyone else so far, the dreaded black screen of doom. Clock is ticking away at my xp boost. Any chance we will get a hotfix soon?

Game tells me it requires an update to continue. I get redirected to the apple store and update. Then when I launch the game again it says an update is required. Redirected to the apple store and try to update again... repeating over and over

My was crack yesterday then back to normal for few hours. It happened today again. Open app got black screen. Using iPhone 7s plus. Lte data. Phatco2003 as user name. Thanks.

@dev, @moderator, @anybody affiliated with the game>>> Any clue about what is going on with this. The issue at hand seems to be a crash that is occurring when trying to load the game and not connected to WiFi. It also appears that ios users are affected. Please let us know if you are aware and working on a fix. This issue is making is hard for many of us to meet daily grinding requirements.

Same issue on my iPhone X. Not seeing the problem on my iPad Pro but no iPhone makes it hard to play when out and about. Game crashes immediately upon launch. Tabbing through open apps after crash shows a paused tab but trying to access it results in an immediate crash.
I have tried on both WiFi and cellular.

There is no way to screen shot the issue as when I click on the thumbnail for the game I immediately get a black screen that rotates my screen to a horizontal view and then immediately (as in less than 2 seconds of time passes) returns to my iPhone home screen. There is no loading screen, there is simply nothing but a temporary darkness before it all just ends and goes back to the home screen. The home screen will be rotated horizontal however, despite having my screen locked to vertical and will stay like that a few seconds before correcting.

3 days in a row you can only play on WiFi. This is a MOBILE game. If I wanted to be stuck in the house I would play my PS4. Guess this was a 2 month waste of time.
