I have noticed in this recent siege battle that there is a lag within game server on updating current win status in tier battle reporting. If gone unchecked players could waste attacks on an already defeated opponent seeing as game is not staying current with game play... I'm sure this would be the same with defend chances if there is lag in the Siege event. My internet connection is very reliable and I know its not on my end...
