Do you think gaming sharpens memory skills?

My memory was a big sloppy mess when I 1st started gaming. I would easily forget which buttons do what, but now I notice that even after not playing a game for a while I have improved on remembering the buttons. I also can remember stories and quests easier than before. Have you noticed your memory skills improve at all? Or did it get worse haha. When people age, they need to keep their brains active and gaming definitely does that.

Keeping your mind active surely sharpens memory skills, and learning new things (like a new game) is a way to do that. Lots of research on the brain's Use It or Lose It reality. :)

I’ve noticed that gaming has really helped my memory. At first, I had a hard time remembering which buttons did what, but now it feels much easier, even if I don’t play for a while.

It’s like my brain has gotten better at remembering things. I think keeping your mind active, whether through gaming or playing, can really help as we get older.

Absolutely! I’ve noticed that gaming not only entertains but also sharpens memory and reaction time. Strategy-based and fast-paced games really push you to think quickly and remember patterns. Recently, I started playing Nulls Brawl on iOS, and it's been both fun and mentally stimulating. If anyone’s interested in trying something similar, here’s the version I’m playing: https://nulls-brawll.fr/nulls-brawl-ios/ — totally worth checking out!
