Properties of Block Revive
A couple of months ago, there was a question wether Block Revive needs ACC or not, and at the end of the conclusion is that the player just missed something on the screen to conclusively say that the Block Revive skill could fail.
Today it actually happened to me, I was playing around with Armiger in Ice Golem Peak, one of his bodyguard is low on health, Lay To Rest icon comes out from my Armiger, he hits that bodyguard, he felled, but no block revive animation comes out (the yellow bird falling animation), I thought I missed something, I quickly stopped the auto battle, and control everyone manually, and sure enough Lay to Rest was indeed used to kill that bodyguard. And once I hit the IG enough, he then revived all of his bodyguard confirming that even though Lay To Rest skilk was used and that bodyguard died but block revive WAS NOT triggered.
At this tine I control the team manually, I target the other bodyguard, the one on the left hand side of the IG, once it has low enough health I once again use Lay To Rest, and this tine the block revive animation came out, and once I hit the IG, he tried to revive his bodyguards and only the right hand side bodyguard revived, the left one stayed dead.
So this time I thought, maybe there's something special to the right hand aide bodyguard? So I manually target him and once he has low enough HP I hit him with another Lay To Rest, and this time the block revive animation came out, after this both bodyguard stayed dead.
I tried to trigger the block revive failure again, but gave up after a couple of fight. So I didn't have any footage at all.
So yeah, there seems to be a chance of block revive to fail... Or is there some hidden mechanics on IG? Since what I remember the previous question about this also seem to happen on Ice Golem Peak?
