Do you also think that there are just way too many events going on for quite some time? Not talking about the regular fusions but the events in between. This just keeps us away from actually building the champions we got.
I mean what's the point of getting a good champion when you know that you can finish building that champ in like 4 months or so.
For example I got Lydia 2 months ago and I still didn't finish her masteries...
I have similar problems. I am behind on content introduced a year ago. I have to choose which events I will pursue. There isnt enough time and resources to chase them all.
This is a Reddit repost but they ain't wrong. Game certainky requires you these days to be a bit more thoughtful where you put your resources (including time).

Too many people try to do everything. Thats how they getcha.
Just have to level and gear your champions during events, I personally save getting masteries for CVC or if I am sick of events I just forget about the FOMO and do whatever I want with my energy and ignore the events.
