it won't. like, at all.

the "nerf' is already the rough equivalent of offering a bandaid to a man who just got both legs ripped off and that's in pvp. in pve, the only places where this could have any effect are wave content and i guess any boss fight with both provoke and minions (that's what, [tainted] mirrorer/disruptor and borgoth in the proving grounds?). so if there are any areas which feature one or more provoke champions that you're able to clear solely through the use of mercurial gear then yes, it could theoretically impede you, but we're talking a very niche scenario on a small subsection of game content.

How bad will the impact be for PvE.  I am about to gear Mavara in Mercurial.
