Maybe Leo and his "leak" caused them to rethink some?

I looked it up on Ayumi; Since halloween 2024, the only guaranteed champ pulls have all been 40 ancients each for various Mikage fusion epics

they've been discontinued for a while, save for the occasional guarantee on a mikage fusion epic. plarium phased them out in favor of fragment champions from deck of fate events, much like the one starting tomorrow (though that one won't involve summons).

Deck of Fate Toon Events (Freyja, Edward, Raphael, Kaja) & Heroes Path Toon Events  (Padraig, Leo) replaced them a couple of years ago now.

You should still be saving shards though. They are the resource that lets you do the DoF and Path Events.

I am trying to decide how many of each I want to keep as a base amount.  

Impressive saving there.  As mentioned Plarium dont really do X shards for champ type guranteeds anymore.  They are basically always in Path and Decks now. 

Which doesn't mean they can't surprise us and throw one up outta the blue.

I try to keep ~200 blues, 120 voids and 20 yellows on hand, but I've actaully been below that for quite some tiem now, i need a crappy frag champ to skip and stock up my hoard

My Targets are similar to Rat, but I try to keep more of cushion on Sacreds than 20.  I pulled a bit liberally (17) during the Path for the Mavara 5* because I opted to do all of the Embrys Titan Event Points. 

I had 47, pulled 17 and have been struggling to stay above 30 ever since.  As I commented in that other thread, I am getting almost no Sacreds at all from Demon Lord.

As a general rule, I treat shards as the currency that allows me to complete the events that will be most beneficial to my account.  I (almost) never pull shards if they aren't advancing some other objective. 

That said, the reason you are saving is to have the resources at your disposal when events come up, so you don't want to be so stingy that you skip beneficial things.  

Do you grind & save Soulstones as well?  Managing that resource has become almost as important as managing shards.  

I grind and save soulstones for 2x events.  All of my 5 and 6 souls have been from pulls, not purchases.  

I have 660 pts now in Titan.  I want to get the Treason at 1,000.  Do I need to push the deck to get the 100 pts and the Lego?

If you only want to get 1000, you probably don't need to do the DoF.  If you are going to 1500, you might want to do it if you have a good supply of soulstones.

The Lego looks pretty good.  Not as good as Fabian, but she is another lockout option. Her aura makes her better than Alice, IMO.

Do as much training as you can then pop the stones on last day.

Personally I haven't bothered with saving shards up (though I also don't use many to begin with), since I have like ... 35k gems, and can always just buy blues if I need to.

It looks like it will require flipping all 40 cards, or very close, to get the champ.  That would wipe out most of my soul stones.  The reward doesnt seem to match what I would burn up.  

You can grind training too.  I'll do at least 15K in champ training for this DoF. 

what else are you going to do with them? soulstones have very little use outside of deck of fate events and the occasional hero's path and the champ seems decent enough.

I wait for 2x to pull soul stones.

@ClosedPoly Last Devil's Advocate comment. You started this thread to inquire about getting guaranteed Legos.  DoF events are the most common way to get guaranteed Legos at this point in Raid.  There has been one every 3-4 months for a couple of years now and then there is typically an opportuntiy to earn their 5* shortly afterward, just like this time with Talenna.

That combo allows you to get a new Lego and their 5*.  Just a final thought for you.
