Why is this so?

I have two Mythic champions, fifteen Legendary champions, and over sixty Epic champions in my collection. Why is it that every time I manage to get a soul, it's from one of the champions I own, while in live arena battles, I face so many opponents with awakened champions—some of the most powerful in the game, all Legendary and at max level? That's really strange.

I meant NONE of the souls I get is for my champions. Is that bad luck, or something else?

Large pool, small sample size.

Not only the souls I get ... NOT EVEN the "soul merchant" offers anything to me, NONE of my good champions, not a soul, not a sell, not anything, but one or another rare champion I got and practically never use. Many rare champions for me and legendaries for other????

Does the soul merchant mechanism offer the same champions to everybody, or it "chooses" depending on who is the player or the champs in the particular colection of a particular player? I guees that the chosing in my case has an issue with me, LOL.

Many people have all of their champions awakened, why the difference?

Doing IT daily?  Hydra every week?  How long been playing?  At the end of the day its all RNG but you want to give yourself the best chances you can.

Mmm. How do tou think I got all my champions?

I can't continue paying for a cow to het chicken legs. With these results I won't give more time than the one I already give to this game. I'll most probably take my backpack and move on to a game that consider my money and time more valuable ... because it is.
