Why is it always that there is only the extact ammount of resources required for fusions? If something happens like getting sick or work you have no chance to finish the fusion and waste resources. I know a lot of other games similar to RAID alsways have the ability to earn more reources than required so even if something happens and you miss one or two rewards you can still get the fusion.
Raid does always have extra components available. Usually it works if you were to complete both summoning events you could skip 2 different events.
This one was even more generous - you could skip four of them, since you could get the epic. And if you were lucky and pulled the epic, even more of em.

That is where you could have gotten the Epic. Missing the Path Event would definitely make doing this Fusion tough.

I did the same thing. I'm new to the game (like 2 weeks old) and didn't know it was a do or die timer. I now have 4 rares ready to fuse (had 3 at the timer ending). They look pretty next to the other champs I have but....... Live to learn and learn to live. 😆
