I am currently getting the quest to spend 10 energy in Grim Forrest 3 days before the rotation reset. I have  exactly 11 unfinished battles, which I can't finish in a day (mostly purple area on hard). 

How about not puting this daily quest when the rotation has less than 10 days left. Because now I am screwed and who knows I will probably be screwed in the next couple of days until the rotation gets reset. 

I undestand the quest should insentivise players to play the new content, but in this case it forces me to keep open steps and do not spend the full 30 energy daily, until I am sure I have at least 10 left for the next day quests if it pops. 

Or at make it similar to the grim forrest - where even if you don't have reachable areas you can replay 2 battles to get the mission done!
