This CVC was INTENSE!!!

So  I am sure you all got matched up against very equal competitors for this CVC.

We certainly did !

But we WON and  placed  7th in the World for clan output  !!!!  Thats  big  game for us =  just saying

well  yes  I  dropped some $$$ to  upgrade  my account  and got myself 1.5 mil  ish   cvc pts  but  no  matter.

That was a bloodbath  of epic  proportions  for  my clan  .

Our can lost.  But we had all 30 clan members hit the minimum requirement for the first time that I can remember.  That was a big step forward for us.

CvC rewards are not worth the effort whatsoever other than getting to the final milestone clan reward.

Hey PG, High Five on the 1.5M.  That is serious points.  I hate to burst your bubble, but if this screenshot is your clan (Raid or Die), you took 7th place in Tier 3 with 8,318,265 total points.

i

That is a very long way from 7th in all of Raid.  This is what Tier 6 looks like:

i

My clan won our CvC with 14,239,928, which is our highest CvC ever.

I  just  realized  the  Global  rankings  are  Tier  based  .So  our clan  is  ranked  much  lower  than  the  actual  Best  in  the  world  =  LOL

Still learing here   LOL  (you  get that mis spell  TRIPS?)

My 2 cents to this is that this was the first time our clan made it to Tier 6 for a personal reward CvC. Usually we tankther non-personal CvC and then fight in tier 5 for personal. We just so happened to win in our last non-personal CvC.

We lost but not by much. Our total CvC points was a new record for us with 16 members getting personal bests. So even with our loss, we put in a heck of an effort.

Due to the Holiday CVC Skip, the last CVC was a PR CVC.

This is the one PR CVC of the year that is match-made based on the previous PR CVC (versus the previous Non-PR CVC). Same thing last year and possibly the year before.

Your clan is very lucky to have you then, if they got 8 Million Points total and you were responsible for 1.5 Million of those points, you deserve some recognition!

Nice job PG.  Thankfully I had a nice easy one.  Coasted to a win.

8mil something while only tier 3? Imo expensive for what the rewards were. My clan won with like 7.8m while Tier 5. The opponent got to like 5mil something. I went and got my 500k achievement thing with it, but like getting 500k is spending more than you get back mostly.

If you have to spend to win, then IMO, CVC rewards are not worth it.

However, if you have played for a long time, you gotta do something with all those built up recources.  Late game players can easily do 400k-500k every PR CvC without spending a dime.

I agree  it  was  not worth it  to put up  that kind  of points for the tier  reward

Unfortunately I  was  in  a fighting  mood  and shoved  all  my  chips  to the center of that  poker  table  so  to speak  unprepared  to  bruise  my  ego (to be quite real)  and  lose

But  perhaps  in  the  end  I  came  out  the  greatest  loser  of all  .  Ironic

The spending I'm talking about isn't money but resources. Like to get to 500k depending on the route you are doing you will use more energy and other resources then you get back from the CvC. It is overall a net negative amount of rewards to win if you are actively pushing and participating with your clan. I got to over 500k this time without spending anything for cvc directly, Used gems for energy which could have been from a variety of things. The main ones that profit from it are those that slack though and do the minimum while getting the rewards from the clan and others pushing.

The key to CvC PR is don't do anything you wouldn't already be doing, just do more of it. Then it isn't a waste.  Some cvc it's gear finding, others chicken grinding.  And if one saves for PR books, forge, gear upgrades, great hall upgrades, then buys energy with clan gold, it's easy to get 300-400k.  I'm always top 5 in clan on PR, but I only do what I was already gonna do.
