Can you recommend one CC video to watch for an overview of Grim Forest?

Day 1 though is similar to Day 1 Cursed City that even on Hard it is pretty easy to blow through the stages. There are probably going to be a lot of check points and stuck points for people on Hard this first rotation unless extremely well built rosters and RNG on your side.

Enjoying it so far.  I can see a difficulty spike starting to emerge already.  

As a mid-level acct, I will probably have a tougher time than PriestG, so hollowing out normal first.  I like the deck concept better than limiting factions like Cursed City.  Overall, pretty fun.

The GREAT feature Raid  put  in the game is  monthly buffs we can add to our account for this  content by leveling up our teams  and  curios  while exploring the map avoiding  harder  bosses  then come  back when we BUFF

Day one hard was a breeze as to be expected. Ended at squad level 7, 2 of the squad relics, a bunch of the buff cards, and 1/3 of the crown things to open last boss.

Not sure if there is any kind of pathing strategy but I'm just kind of randomly going around atm.

Nothing says fun like forced content. I'm early/mid and I don't have the roster for this, I just want to clear the advanced quests so I can stay on track for the leggo book. I tried Grim Forest on Normal and was bored it's mostly a manual wave clearing chore. Hard pass, but I can't even skip it because of this...

At least we dont have to win anything.  We just have to burn some special energy.  They modeled that part after play an LA battle.  

This is a time suck for sure.  It took me 2 hours to pick my decks for normal.  Then 30+ mins to use the 30 energy.  The dailies only require using 10 energy.  It wont be too long before thats all I do.  

I defeated Mimic.  That boss reminds me of a bug I saw while deer hunting in West Texas around 50 years ago.  Uglieeee.  

My two cents - interesting, moreso than sintranos, but the timesink requirements will kill this for me even more than sintranos did.

I  mean  for  me  I  WANT  to play  RAID  8  hrs  a  day like any   MMO  I  play  = so   if I  cannot then I  go to another  MMO   in my Library and  finish out  my day

Guess  its  what  Raid  wants  to cater  to.  A  society that  want to play  Raid for 1 hr  a  day or more  serious  gamers who game  40+ hrs  per week  and  give  more  in depth content like  Grim Forest?

There are many levels of gamers.  Some play 30 minutes per day and some will play 12 hours a day.  It makes sense that Plarium would try to appeal to everyone in that spectrum.  

I am retired and have the time.  For me, its about the game being fun.  There is some point where doing the same things over and over become boring instead of FUN.  

I am lucky (unlucky) that new tasks take me longer than most.  That holds my attention.  Then something like LA where players have a full minute to pick a champ becomes like watching paint drying.  

That's great, but for those of us with full time jobs and kids to raise this is a pain.

We all try to keep our clans happy by being active and keeping up with CvC and Siege but this is not helping. Plarium keeps forgetting that happy players will happily stay/spend, but unhappy players will look for the exit.

It  just  echoes  what  I  am  saying   =  how  does  Raid please us all ?  Because I tried  SWGOHs   and  would complete it in 2 hr  time frame with multiple avenues to  SIM  things that took  seconds to complete  =  I then moved  on the  next  videogame of the day to occupy my time   =  loss for that   game.  So  If  Raid cannot keep my   attention  more than a few  hrs  =   well I  then start playing another  video game  ?

Thankfully  there  is a  fusion coming  Monday which I  will go for and at least give me something to do in  Raid thats  more  than  a   couple hrs

The advent of Grim Forest allows me the excuse to stop playing my second acct.  Lol.  So, overall, saves me time. 😆

By not forcing content like I said in my opening post. Keep content optional so we can pick and choose how we spend our time in game. Try paying attention, I already answered your question.

The fun part of the game is figuring out how to overcome a particular challenge with the tools you have. The boring part is doing that again, over and over.

Do you run dungeons on manual? Of course you don't. You hit autobattle and go watch a movie until you've finished the 60 runs to complete a fusion requirement. Is that a massive waste of time? Absolutely. And that's just repeated everywhere in this game.

Pick  and  choose content you   want to play YOU  said  =  That is what   I  am   saying  as with   ALL  MMOs  =   do not feel compelled  to do   EVERYTHING  in  game  daily  -   play your way...it  does  not mean you need to   do   EVERYTHING!

So  to   your  question  I  run  ALL  content AUTO  =  even   LIVE  arena  and love  playing that   way   because  its  MY  way!  =  enjoy .  yes I  spend  as you all know  here .

But same token  I  do   not farm  dungeons  because content  like  Seige/Chimera/Hydra/DT  give  far  better rewards than  any  dungeon = lets not forget  perception gear from  FWs !

I  mean  YOU  cannot beat   RAID  =  at least   CCs  admit that  =   same as  with  all   MMOs  .  But  I  can deep  sink  8+hrs a  day playing  other  RPG  MMOs  which I do daily   .....when   I cannot play   my FAVORITE of all  RAID

Do  I  have  120K  energy  and gems and silver  =   YES  .  But  refuse to waste those resourses .  So  Yes  I  am goping for the fusion on   Monday  cause I  think its  a  valuable champion -   so  very   happy  I  going  to   have a  reason to do  tournaments/events  ....which  I usually skip over  for the simple reason every day  rewards  suck in those

But to be fair I did farm  ShoGun last  time  to get   a  prism shard pull reward = epic  ....but   reason enough to do   IMO
