Are we really left to the ridiculously low points to advance. 13 SACRED shards for the epic hero. 20 SACRED shards to complete the event. 305 ( 23,400 crystals from the market) Ancient shards for the Epic. 500 to complete the event. Not to mention the silver for gear events. I'm going to be happy with just the Epic.

hard disagree, though it doesn't get easier for fusions until you're able to get all possible sacreds (CB, monthly, hard DT, first time rewards from certain areas, etc.)
it is very much a resource management game where you still have to pick and choose the less you spend and for example that's why I'm opting out of this fusion, personally

I'd agree it was resource managment if the resources were easier or free to obtain or in greater abundance. Fusion events shouldn't be something you safe up for half the year on shards and still hope for RNG.
Not only that but the fun part of the game is opening shards and getting a champion you want if you are lucky. I'm not even really playing, just running the same sequence of fights and arena for the dailies. Thanks for letting me vent a bit.

How far are you in the game?
To be fair to your post, until you're on that gravy train I listed fusions are quite punishing and even now they're not as easy as they once were. I do think they can be pretty much done with in game resources but you need to be far along and often have to ignore stuff like 2x outside of fusions.

I do believe they have gotten a smidge more expensive, at least in terms of the newly coined "Gear Hunter". Used to be able to easily go net positive on gems during but now usually end up even or a bit down.
Otherwise 100% agree that once youre farming UNM every fusion should be doable as long as you manage resources appropriately.

Still would be net positive. It's the two SD/shogun tourney squeezed in there that we aren't ever skipping.
I'm also only running 20 for dd, if u are running hard getting taxed there.

Exactly. Along with most forge gear, including those two sets that require core freakin' hammers, which are a waste of space for better rewards....

Probably way more than well ever get. They could buff about 20 sets again.

Savage worth since I still won't swap except for a couple cc stages. Speed i use as a filler set now. Definitely not worth running hard dragon.

Also a steady source of Merciless coming thru for the PvE boys so feels quite a bit easier to put the good stuff on the PvP champs.

Totally agree. I was thinking about throwing that exact thing on Discord last week. Seems asinine that H10 isn't at least equal to L20 for Tourney and DD points/energy
As long as there is training overlap with the dungeon tourneys for fusions, I exclusively run L20 with food. However, if there is a fusion tourney that pops with no training overlap, I will run H10 Dragon if Speed is boosted, H10 IG if Reflex is boosted and H10 FK if Savage is boosted. Other than those three sets, nothing gets me off L20 due to the points/energy efficiency.

I run hard Fk for a FK *turn* tournament, because with the team I use I get the most efficent points/energy doing hard 6. But other than that, I havent done hard fk at all, let alone stage 10, since I finished the Horsey mission.

If I do a Turn Attacks Tourney, I exclusively run H10 if there isn't champ training going on. Turn Attack Tourneys flip the pts/nrg formula completely.
However, if there is training going on, I still run L20 with food.
