Is a faction unity champ's passive still active in a battle where one of the faction allies are dead but the faction unity champ is still alive?

Unless otherwise stated, im 97% sure faction unity champs passives still get all the bonuses as long as however many faction allies are on the team, regardless of whether they're currently alive or not.

Yes, allies dont need to be alive for the effects to activate.

Does not matter if he's good. only whales and lucky ones will get them.
The summon portal list of champs that can't be pulled includes the faction unity champs.
That means you can only pull them during special events like 10x's for them what is absolutely BS.
