Oh, there will be some shard packs...it will just cost you some x dollar. Expect to be flooded with incredible packages and offers around 70-120 dollars to get some shards, soul stones and books.
And normally the presents will be given at the holidays, not the days before...so there might be some single shards and books as x-mas presents....just wait for them
