hello, has plarium completely set the discounts for etchings? the last one was on 19.06.18. the intervals between discounts are getting bigger and bigger. the previous one was in april.

The former frequency was around 4 weeks, now much longer. Understandable that the buying price for the firm of around 550 mio needs to be earned back as soon as possible, but exactly in case of the etchings it should be quite advantageous because most players has the will to buy some of them.

My island is neither finished nor end explored. I urgently need etchings and wait since a long time for the next offer. I need too many etchings. I can not win all of them in the events. Even with the few concretely with etchings equipped offered I do not really get on. What's happening? Was the 25% discount simply forgotten in vacation mode?

It seems to me to be a terrible game model unless, always an unless, they are getting a lot of buyers of rubies to convert them to etchings. Perhaps, after a sale, the buying really drops off for a net loss of sale average say up to two weeks after said sale.
Just a guess as I rely on winning them; few and far between.

No, we don't close this discount. Though I agree the interval is longer than it was before.

While I'd also like them back, is it really that big of a difference between 25% that we're getting now (the last one was on 2019-07-29) and 30% that we used to get?
Also, the power difference doesn't come from etchings. It comes from units, which big spenders have far more of than non-coiners, and that won't change.

Why has Plarium stopped the 30% upgrade etching discount? The upgrade etching has created a caste system where the haves (maybe 1-5% of the players) completely dominate the remainder of the players. It has caused an exodus of long time players and keeps any community feeling to develop.
