🏆🌬️ It’s time to explore the story of another Arena - the Snowdrift Stage! Read the full lore below. 

The Snowdrift Stage has hosted many standout moments at the Global Winter Games. While the Pilots are largely behaving themselves, it wouldn’t be Mech Arena without a healthy dose of drama, on and off the battlefield. Ingrid and Nicklas have been winning over fans with their teamwork. The duo has come to each other’s aid more than once, storming their way through enemies while being deafened by the crowd. For Ingrid, this has been an opportunity to reconnect with her father. Despite the frosty weather, their trust in each other has been rekindled.

Both Stefania and Boar are featured heavily on the Snowdrift Stage. Their photos appear on the large archway in the center of the Arena. The MAL wanted to commemorate and celebrate their hard work in campaigning for the sport. You might notice that Boar’s image appears for a longer duration than Stefania’s. He promises he had nothing to do with this “glitch” and is adamant that he did not bribe any officials. Each were also allowed to choose a colour that would be used on one side of the Arena. Boar selected green and Stefania picked purple.

There are only a few more battles left at the Snowdrift Stage to determine who will receive the Golden Cup. Stefania has lived up to the high expectations placed on her at the start of the Global Winter Games and has managed to handle the pressure so far. Ukrainians have shown their support for her at every turn and she is well positioned heading into the final. But a couple of other contenders are still in the running. Neev, representing Canada, has also risen through the ranks and Finland’s Ingrid has won over the fans’ hearts. It’s all to play for.

After the Global Winter Games have concluded, the MAL plan to keep all three of their new Arenas in regular use. This will ensure that the area still receives regular visitors and income from the battles hosted there. Stefania and Boar have also offered to host programs designed to help train up junior talent. They both hope that a child who watched the sport on TV this time will later go on to compete themselves in a full circle moment. Whatever happens, it’s clear that the impact of these games will last long into the future.
