🏭⚙️ Central Station, as its name suggests, was the beating heart of X-Tek’s industrial operations. It was a transport hub for the workers, allowing them to easily navigate across different zones via company buses. At its peak, there were 850 employees at the facility. It was bustling, filled with welders, miners, steelworkers, electricians, administrators and more. Their jobs were hard, but people worked with pride and X-Tek was renowned for their quality. After being run for decades, it seemed like the plant was there to stay. But nothing lasts forever.

Central Station can be found in Marhanets, Ukraine. It’s a spot that’s naturally rich in minerals. X-Tek’s facility was different though. The owner, Zoryan Yasnomyr, didn’t just want to dig out the resources and then move operations to a new spot. He was from the region himself and had bigger plans. While the other companies outsourced everything, the plant was proud to be Ukrainian. Its investment in the local economy allowed it to become a powerhouse.

Central Station was part of a facility owned by X-Tek. It was a family-led company with humble origins making industrial fans. It had grown over time to be successful due to the patriarch's careful investment. Generations of the family had worked there, building on its legacy. Unfortunately, at one point, the manufacturing industry hit a downturn and they couldn’t compete with a globalized economy. Zoryan knew he would have to secure a new future for the facility. But it didn’t seem right to sell to a megacorp, so he started to explore other options.

When the current head of X-Tek realized that the facility would need a new owner, he knew several things for certain. Most importantly, he could not sell it to another corporation. They would gut the workforce, stamp out the culture his family had worked so hard to build, and tear through the region’s resources unsustainably. But he also knew that he needed to sell it in order to protect it. The workers saw this dilemma and decided to rally together. It was important that their voices were heard. And they were determined to save their facility.
