Useless mech cards after max level up

When opening crates ,I'm still getting lancer mech cards even though my lancer is max leveled. Why give these cards if they are completely useless.

It would be nice if we can exchange these unwanted for the ones we need

Any exchanging/trading features are highly unlikely to be implemented, at least at this moment. However, the BPs for the maxed Content issue is known.
