I’m dealing with the same problem. I could list about 100 types of tricks that the developers likely included on purpose, specifically to prevent players who don’t usually spend money from leveling up.
On top of these unfair matches, I've already seen enemy bots with no implants, no defense mods, and lower HP end up being more resistant than my mech (which has higher HP, a legendary pilot, and implants).
Another thing: the enemy bots' weapons, with 24k damage, can also wipe out my mech's entire HP with just one shot, while I have to unload twice or more just to get a kill.
Example: I face an opponent's mech that has lower HP, like 64k. I shoot until both of my weapons are completely empty, and its HP barely takes any damage. It doesn't have shields or implants that would justify that kind of resistance. Then my Mech, which is supposed to be stronger, with implants, shields, and much higher HP, takes just one shot and loses more than half its HP before the opponent even empties their mag. In other words, a single burst takes away over half my health.
Bots don't have the factor of human distraction: an enemy bot can be over 80 meters away fighting two other players, yet it instantly knows where I just spawned and that I'm aiming at it, so it moves with pinpoint precision to a spot where I can't hit it.
Everything in the game feels like a rigged show designed to make players lose. They brought back the assist cheat again: 60% of the mechs I destroy count as assists, even when I deal 90% of the damage to the enemy... and sometimes nothing even pops up, not even a kill feed entry or assist credit. It's one of the most ridiculous cheats anyone could code to hold a player's progress back.
