This is honestly a scam (and just voicing my perspective on this will probably get me banned)

So this is my perspective. You let youtubers test this new mech voidghost. They all put out videos noting that storm racks, burrow beams and charge rockets would not stop firing while voidghost is immaterial and that this was overpowered. You released the mech as is.

Then a month later after people had already spent money on the mech you quietly NERF it so those weapons don't fire, and only after players noticed and asked support about it do you tell them that it wasn't an intended mechanic, and that's how we all found out. Somebody had to share the responseto their support ticket over a month later AFTER THE CRATE RUSH ENDED. 11 days ago you did a mech spotlight video where your best weapon idea is hornets. Clearly your team must have seen the youtube videos by that time it had been little over two weeks since voidghost was released. So by then you must have already intended to change the mech. But people in the comments had mentioned how you could use these continuous firing weapons and your moderators just told them "that's a neat way to use the mech".

So for about 2 weeks after you knew you were going to alter the mech you let people believe it was working as intended. Perhaps even a month if you aren't lying about those weapons continuing to fire while voidghost is immaterial being a "bug". Until the crate rush had ended, and people's opportunity to spend money had passed.

And guess what? No compensation for the people who purchased and/or spent money to upgrade voidghost. You let players think they were buying something then once the window had ended to acquire voidghost you silently switched it up on them and fixed what made voidghost what it was to people, and only told them it wasn't intended after you took their money from them then quietly changed what they paid for on them. And you didn't compensate them at all.

You did this with burrow beams too. You let people play with them before release, those people let you know it's particularly strong. You let people think it's working as intended for some months while people exclusively had to gamble for high energy variants in crate rush with real money, then you NERF it and said it was bugged only after the crate rush window was closed.

Do you think we're stupid or something. Do you think we can't see what's happening here? This is one of many reasons I quit mech arena. Cause you seem completely fine just ripping off players. I actually don't know how this can be legal. Maybe a bunch of players can get together and file a class action lawsuit. This is unacceptable.

This is a game that is without any good management oversight And completely lack any transparency whatsoever in making their releases and updates!

every decision they make piss off their player bases and thus make more people want to leave this game for good?  Yet they continue to ignore their player's voices and concerns and make these changes that players feels are rigged and scams!

would you want to support and invest in this kind of game ?

Yeah I agree, voidghost actually came out on the 3rd of September so that's 4 weeks before the spotlight video,

Plus that week before it's release, mech arena actually posted on discord all the videos of content creators using voidghost in the tester server and using burrow beams and stormracks saying they were best weapons for the mech, so they knew about it before they released the mech, they could have paused it's release and fixed it but clearly they did it on purpose to get as many sales as they could from it

I have said several things on this forum over the years about plarium and mech arena which staff have told me are "offensive". But I think what's most offensive is how plarium treat their players. Actually the most offensive thing is discrimination and hate for people based on immutable characteristics. But plarium's treatment of their players is up there and definitely far more offensive than anything I've said.
