No, it's not very good in later stages. I have rank 5 Disc Launcher 8s, am using it with Rank 5 epic guided pilot and have legendary damage and reload implants of rank 4 (each one deals 50k dmg approx per mag). Despite the numbers, you can't kill some mechs within a single magazine (in my 4k-5k sp range I seem to struggle to get kills on my own). I would use it on damage dealers like Orion or Stalker to secure kills, but still it's not worth using imo
