Could you post a screenshot of your hangar and a few matches that causes you to go against 10k hangars? If the game feels you are skilled enough, they might put you up against 1-2k SP hangars higher than you. But to go up against hangars above that range means the game's matching making algorithm is detecting something about your hangar.

If this is during tournaments, then yes, you'll face 10k hangars regardless.

I do dominate sometimes like with a big enough margin to be above others then I get cooked. Then I somehow cook them I get cooked. But however in the last few matches I have gotten better opponents which I can face at my level and yeah I do have skill issues.

They wont fix it, over the past 4 or more years they been saying the same thing that it will get fixed but never does what they say. I do not believe a word they say and probably will never fix it

The reason I requested a pic of your hangar and a few matches is because of what you have equipped in your hanger. The hangar SS you posted looks normal so it's odd that you are being put up against 10k SP players. Some reasons you might be place against high SP hangars:

• You have a high level mod equipped that is usually not used at your bracket.
• You have a high rank mech and/or weapon equipped that is usually not used at your bracket .
• You have a high rank pilot and/or implant(s) equipped that is usually not used at your bracket .
• You are playing in tournaments.

The matchmaking algorithm will adjust your opponents based on the above (unless it's in a tournament which works on a whole different algorithm). It's Plarium's attempt to deter SP dropping. There are ways to trick the algorithm which is what SP droppers do.

Are you playing in tournaments where this happens? If so then you can face any hanger size in tournaments, even 20k plus hangers, 

They really need to fix tournament ranks with hp brackets so high power players can't drop to lower ranks, each rank should have a hp limit 

Tournament cooks me most of the time but even in CPC games I sometimes face opponents greater than me

I have one legendary mech and 1 legendary weapon and I don't have any mods can't afford it short in currency. And most of my mechs are 3 stars, but weapons I might have few with 4 stars.

Our team is continually refining the matchmaking system. While our balance settings and attempts by some players to exploit the system can occasionally cause uneven matches, we are actively developing solutions to prevent this.

In the meantime, we recommend adjusting your Hangar setup and squading up with friends who have a similar Squad Power (SP) to help optimize your matchmaking experience.

Absolutely agree. Took me 28 games of Hangar Showdown yesterday and today to get 3 wins. Eclipses/Deathwalkers/Citadels/Dreadnought/Surges/Parasites, wielding snot guns, revokers, burrows, etc. I keep wondering why i play this broken crap game, then will have a team game that is almost fair and fun and win a tight match. I don't have the $$ to win (and don't claim high skill). I don't mind losing all that much, but getting cremated in less than 15 seconds and scoring 0 pts on about a third of my games, that's not all on me. But to fix the game, they'd lose $$, so they never will. Just wish Andrew and company would quit lying to our faces about how 'fair and balanced' it is. The rebalances are hysterical, "wow, revokers went from 99% lethal down to 95%, we fixed the problem". Amusing folk. :(

Yeah sometimes I get a opponent that has nothing but legendary gear. Pilot, weapon, mech even freaking implants. Why?

You can thank plarium for that and there matchmaking broken old system and they will never fix it or change it, because it makes whales and sp drop hanger whales happy

When are you going to realize your matchmaking system is broken at its core thanks to meaningless power ratings as a result of EVERYTHING AT EVERY GEAR HUB TIER HAVING PRE GRADE-UPDATE POWER RATINGS

This game is more unbalanced than ever before same with sp droppers, more than ever before. Seems like their continuous refining is working great over the past 4 years (for them not us). Always the same responses, always the same results,.. new mechs and new weapons to sell. It's all just smoke and mirrors. Pay up, pass up or just stop expecting Mech Arenas coders to balance anything other than their checkbooks.
