How to turn Blast RPG from F to S Tier:

Add homing detection only past 60m and increase it's range to Storm Racks, done.

The homing system as a whole completely defeats the purpose of it's radius advantage when it's highest damage output is hitting walls and floors, however after a certain range it can absolutely become useful when targets occasionally move far past your firing direction if it continues down a straight path at 120m for example.

Better yet, add homing detection at any range only if a target is far above an elevation threshold so it's still the second only rocket to melt Lacewings but also keep SR dumbfire capabilites.

You're right! Better remove homing feature for Blast RPG, it hampers the damage dealing capacity of the weapon

Yeah, 60m+ homing would be huge. Keep it dumbfire up close, then let it track at range. Would make Blast RPG way more viable without breaking it.

So you'd get all the benefits of ground shots at low to mid range, and all the benefits of guided missile at longer ranges plus the big damage radius plus the relatively short (8 seconds) cooldown. I'm not saying blast RPG is great right now, but with this suggestion you're just asking for a better storm rack (more radius and less cooldown) with the long range homing bonus.

I think it's fine that RPG has this difference relative to the "standard" missile weapons. It makes it unique, and makes it a viable alternative for people that have a hard time with the ground aiming technique. And for of us that don't like it we don't lose anything.. we just use storm racks.

The goal isn't to buff the weapon at all, the goal is to align the weapons ability and buff since they're in contradiction of each other which makes it a horrible weapon.

If they want a homing weapon, then nerf the radius in exchange of a Hornet hit detection that actually hits. If they want a radius weapon, insert my original post of keeping homing detection past 60m.

I'm asking for a Rework not a buff because they already have 2 very OP buffs in a single weapon, so you can't blame me for suggesting how to make them simply function properly.

You're putting the cart before the horse here my friend.

No you've misunderstood, but no worries. Our individual points have been made, or at least attempted, and this is not (IMO at least) that critical a topic needing a detailed debate.

I fully understand your points but by your own admission "Blast RPG isn't great right now", I legit listed my reasons to make it great right now and answered part of your arguement, which arguably was the most imporant and you're free to list your own solutions as well.

As long as were on common ground that it's not that great right now, everything else including my solutions are secondary.
