Plarium literally does not care
Getting devs to make meaningful improvements to the game has been near impossible as long as it's been out. They're stubborn fools and making them budge on anything is a herculean task.
The first ever matchmaking system for this game which made pay 2 play give a significant advantage in matchmaking an unfair one. Had to argue back and forth about the definition of pay to win to finally get them to budge. Got really pissed off at them for arguing with me and at one point putting words in my mouth cause I was describing an experience that made the game feel unfair and less fun to play before they finally budged and admitted the matchmaking could sour the experience.
They released pilots and you had to pay an egregious amount of a-coins to recover your implants with all your implant parts. Got them to answer why they charged I forget the answer but I remember it sucked and we told them that. Players wanted more freedom but devs kept trying to tell us we have freedom there. It took months of back and forth of those 2 things being said for them to finally give the community what we wanted.
Hardly anything has gotten changed really since. Just recently we got a massive tournament overhaul. You know how long we'd been waiting for tournaments to receive ANY changes? IT TOOK YEARS! And after those years the devs still aren't doing anything about players getting blueprints for stuff they already maxxed out which has also been a problem from the start. Hangar showdown update was half ass and hardly solved anything.
The only thing we didn't really have to push for is common to epic grade price changes. And I feel that can easily be explained by the fact that plar are trying to sell legendary grade equipment. No word on any price changes even for some of the more expensive legendary equipment to bring it in line with the rest. And I'm certaim big balancing changes caused/ causes more revenue to flow in. Meaning plarium didn't have to worry about suffering a loss implementing either of these changes.
They started doing regular crate rushes because they know even though members of the community say not to unless you can guarantee the prize a bunch of players are going to gamble any ways and then burn all their resources making people either pay to get a bit more. Crate rushes are constantly running and short so you never have enough for all of them. And if you miss an item you wait an indefinite amount of time before you can try to get it again. Yeah the crate rush can let you get stuff cheaper than in gear hub that doesn't mean it's there for players.
You see what I'm talking about when I say plarium doesn't care? Yeah they don't care about making important changes if they can't see financial benefit from it. You have to push and push and push and even then the likelihood any meaningful changes get made any time like within our lifetimes is close to 0. They don't care about us players. They care about money. If they can optimize a revenue stream by making a positive change then they'll do it but otherwise it takes an absurd amount of pushing from the community if it ever happens.
They've been saying they're going to improve their transparency for half a year now. 2 months ago they just said they'd improve their presence in the community either. I've seen the opposite happen and each time I've complained it's gotten worse.
I'm about ready to give up all hope for this game because devs seem just fine with it being a mediocre microtransaction pushing child gambling promoting cash machine. They could be working on this game for another 50 years and it'll never be truly good because plarium just doesn't care. They don't care how much we complain or how long we've been doing it. They don't care about improving anything that could cause a revenue hit if they improved it. They just don't care.
