You should see them in grandmaster 1, they're so bad, my hangers are all over 20k and I'm faced against multiple parasites, surges, deathwakers and badisons, all maxed everything, they sometimes dominate the whole matche 😅 

That's where I've been seeing them (GM3). lol. It's crazy. I run into players who are 22k SP with my poor 10k hangar. I'm sure the bots are 15k+ SP even when there are no other players. At times, I have to unload two full magazines on them JUST to get their mods down. 

I'm to the point where, if I am in a single player match (just me, myself, and I), I go and hide and let the bots duke it out. Most of the time, the other side wins because my team is short a member (which is me...hiding). 😢 

I can absolutely relate to every word you said. I feel like I'm tickling them, and they melt me down with a fusion cannon brav... 

Gameplay feels orchestrated, rigged for only one outcome. Feels like I could play my best or set my phone down and the match results would be the same either way. Mech Arena is really starting to feel more like an auto clicker game than a "competitive PvP skill-based game". Game is nothing but A.I bots anyways so might as well make this game an auto clicker.

I totally agree. This game is complete shi t now. The game does feel completely rigged, especially in control clashes. Its next to impossible to win. Most of the time I am the last guy on our team when the other has 5 left and of course I have not shot against those

Hangar showdown also. Seeker jumped, I shut him down with Guardian but he can target and fire Geminis after shutdown.

Yeah platuirm did say at the start of these new tournaments that the brackets are set for different sp powers, so playing in grandmaster you will face maxed everything, all top 20k plus hangers play in grandmaster, so at 10k you should be in master 3 at the highest by the end of the tournament and starting the tournament in expert, try drop down on the next tournament and you should be fine playing in those lower brackets then and everyone should be around the same sp and weaker bots

Even in Master ranks (which is where I have started every new seasons), I still run into 20k+ players and insane bots. lol. I have noticed that in M2-1 ranks, many players with their 15k+ hangars have questionable loadouts. So, I am guessing these are the players that can't make it GM due to mech and weapon choices and/or skill levels. But, even with their hangar having questionable setups, they still plow through due to the SP descrepencies. 

The bots, on the other hand, are still insane even in master rank. 😣

That's because everyone in grandmaster 1 to grandmaster 3, even the top 500, all get dropped down to master 1 at the start of the tournament, and matchmaking let's you only play against players in 2 brackets lower or 2 brackets higher, so if youre in master 1, master 2 or master 3 at the start of the tournament, you will face all top players that's why I said it's best to drop down to expert, and never finish a tournament higher than master 3, so if you finish the tournament at master 3, you will drop to expert 2 at the start of a new tournament, the you will never face top 20k players

And by time you get to master 3 in the last week of the tournament, all top high hanger players will be in grandmaster so you won't face them, maybe the odd one who doesn't play much, but most opponents will be around your sp, plus bots will be weaker in expert and master 3, an bots aren't that strong in master 3, they start getting strong after master 2 then each rank up they get stronger, so never go higher than master 3 and you'll be good

Like at the beginning of these new tournament, I mentioned that I might have to drop rank on purpose, but, my pride (or is it my masochistic side) prevent me from doing so. 🤔

It's unfortunate that I probably have to manipulate the playing environment in-order to be matched properly.

I am playing in last grandmaster i have max surge with max legendary pilot and implant and revoked 16 and 8 max and yet I am not able to kill bots 😑. The main problem is their mods. I request please don't give bots legendary maxed out mods. The bots of second last grandmaster are not that crazy though they are a bit hard to deal with. To sum it up plz do something about those insane mods.

If Plarium doesn't decrease the max mods, at least decrease the bot's reflexes, precision, and/or shooting trejectories. Some of those trajectories are outrageous. Alongside that, precision aiming AND relfex within a small space of exposure? Heck, I've been playing many FPS for over 20 years with good rankings; I also have a 37 inch 4k monitor and I can't even lock on in that amount of time and space. 

And yes, some of you FPS geeks might mention that a smaller monitor with super high refresh rate is better, but, I'm getting old and do not want to sit as close to the monitor at times, but, I do switch to my trusty Alienware 27 inch OLED 360Hz if it's not Mech Arena and want to really sweat it out. 

If these Mech Areana bots were in any other FPS games, they would be banned for cheating. LOL 😛

Good callouts. I've had a positive experience with bots at lower tournament ranks (pro and expert). But even there, now that you all mention it, their mods are usually higher than you would see on normal players. And since scraping wins at those ranks against all-bot opponents is challenging, I know for sure I don't belong in the master rank :-).

FYI - my experience was positive in the sense of the bots being more challenging at those ranks without being OP. I have a 5k-6k hangar.

If by opponents you mean bots then maybe the first or second level of the expert rank. I say this on the basis of my own experience and with my hangars.. it might vary based on the kinds of mechs and weapons in the hangar, and other people's experiences.

.. and also I say this on the basis of the current iteration of the new tournaments format. Each iteration has had different bot strengths, and that might change again next time.
