Why are the missle racks on the only ones without good AOE damage on impact? I can hit right next to a player and ZERO damage. However, every other missle (guided or not) deals significan AOE damage.
The base damage radius is certainly bad, at 3 metres. But at rank 5 it becomes 4.5 which is playable at low to mid SPs. A long time ago I did my lancer high flyer achievement with a missile rank 6 at rank 5. And if you're either lucky or are willing to pay for it, the legendary radius implant goes up to 66%, which gives a competitive 7.5m .
