Matchmaking

The way tournament forces you to have a 5 mech squad and matchmaking in general seems to now punish you for having a relatively balanced load out (all the same level no mods), Im glad I've never spent a dollar on this game. The way weapons and mechs are assigned their values do not align with their actual abilities. And that will always be an obstacle to an even remotely balanced matchmaking experience. I suppose I should be grateful that I haven't faced worst loadouts

no idea what the talk is about.. for new tournament you need to put your strongest hangar with mods and pilots and strongest weapons.. matchmaking takes into consideration only tournament scores, it doesn't care what hangar you pick or what mechs or weapons you have in it. If you want to win you need to play strongest mechs and weapons, you can not cheat with sp dropping, removing mods or pilots or anything.

The way weapons and mechs are assigned their values do not align with their actual abilities. And that will always be an obstacle to an even remotely balanced matchmaking experience.
