Is there a lag hack or something that people are using?

It just seems funny that as soon as I go to attack someone, all of a sudden I'm hit with a lag spike. It can't just be a coincidence that it will happen in one game as soon I get enough to kill a certain someone, but then the next game it's cleared up. I know it's not my connection.

There are PC players who use something called a 'lag switch' where they artificially induce lag so that the server thinks that the connection is bad for them. To balance this, the server then gives the opposing player the same type of connection lag. The player who caused it is actually unaffected and can seemingly go on a rampage as they are still playing with an optimal connection.

Tell me more of this 'switch of lag' that you speak of, warrior 🙂

Seriously though, Googling 'lag switch' confirms what you wrote. But won't the server detect this nefarious machine?

I would think that Plarium would be able to spot it if they were looking for it, but are they looking for it. That is the big question. I have reported all people in games where that has happened. I only got a message back once that they did ban someone, but they didn't say what for.

I highly doubt they have any detection system as their own servers are inferior to most other games' servers (based on my experience), along with the fact that a lot players reside in countries where there are legitimate connection issues.
