I decided to play mech arena for a bit at least until I couldn't stand it anymore again and I'm probably already at that point not even in D1. So this is my 2 strongest builds

The only thing upgraded beyond base level in my inventory is a 6 star lancer, which isn't even used at the moment so I don't get how it could possibly factor in.

I'm going to rant a bit here and it's going to be profane and as a warning it might be offensive. But I'm fed up and I'm just trying to vent my frustration. And I really don't know what else to say. I know you always say you're open to discussion about MA as long as it follows the rules to keep it productive but I historically have not observed that and on the contrary the rules have been used to silence discussion. So again this rant is going to be raw emotion. It may or may not be a rational way of thinking or acting. Some stuff while not targeted at any specific person could be construed as personally offensive. And some stuff could be outright wrong. If I am, just say so. I would rather not offend. But that's how I feel when I play MA, offended. And this is really the only way I can communicate how offended I am. I have tried to curate my feedback so I had a message that would be relayed to the team. But this is the message I want to give them. If anyone is offended by it, sorry, but we could use some much more transparent communication on this if you want to actually have a productive discussion with the community. Before I start if anyone on the team is sensitive they should not read this or have it read to them without it being sanitized of foul language and insults.

Anyways I get the jist of how this match happened. Another instance of SP cheaters gaming the system. What I don't get is there's a very simple fix to this and it's that YOU CAN FUCKING PUT GUARD RAILS UP TO STOP THESE MATCHES FROM HAPPENING BUT YOU FUCKING DON'T! I have provided multiple suggestions on how you could possibly mitigate this problem and you have implemented FUCKING NONE!

There's no guard rail for difference in power rating between your highest power mechs. There's no guard rail stopping these guys getting matched with people with much lower rated mechs EVEN WHEN THEY HAVE MUCH HIGHER RANK STUFF IN THEIR INVENTORY! EVEN IF IT'S IN THEIR FUCKING OTHER HANGARS! EVEN THOUGH YOU CHOOSE YOUR HANGAR AFTER YOU'RE MATCHED! BY THE WAY WHO ARE THE FUCKING GENIUSES THAT THOUGHT THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA?! YOU'RE ALL FUCKING BRILLIANT! LOVE THE IDEA THAT SOMEONE COULD GET MATCHED BASED A 2.5K HANGAR AND DROP IN WITH A NEARLY MAX ONE! EVERYONE INVOLVED IN THAT DECISION SHOULD GET A PROMOTION!

And I know you always say you're constantly tweaking the matchmaking to make MA fair for everyone. BUT THEN WHY DOES THIS STILL FUCKING HAPPEN? Maybe I wouldn't be so offended, if this hadn't been an ongoing issue FOR FOUR FUCKING YEARS NOW! And whatever you're doing behind the scenes, which you won't disclose with us, on the surface IT LOOKS LIKE NOTHING HAS CHANGED! So I have to ask why does it seem like you're sitting on your asses, doing the bare fucking minimum in minimizing bugs and balancing the roster. There are only 2 ways I can figure things haven't really changed. EITHER THIS IS ON PURPOSE AND PAYRIUM ARE GREEDY PIGS THAT DON'T WANT TO FIX PROBLEMS IF IT DOESN'T AFFECT THEIR BOTTOM LINE OR DEVS ARE A BUNCH OF INCOMPETENT FUCKING BUFFOONS! AGAIN YOU'VE HAD FOUR FUCKING YEARS AND PLENTY OF SUGGESTIONS! One would think a competent dev team that actually cared about its players would have this solved by now. BUT SOMEHOW YOU FUCKING HAVEN'T. And I know you don't technically consider SP dropping to be cheating, but this is gaming the system to create an unfair advantage. And if you're not going to be implementing strict guard rails, THE LEAST YOU COULD DO IS PUNISH THESE PLAYERS FOR GAMING THE SYSTEM THIS WAY! IT SURELY IS CHEATING IF ONLY YOU WOULD CONSIDER IT THAT WAY! I wanted to say happy holidays, but THIS MATCH SINGLE HANDEDLY RUINED MY MORNING THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY WITH YOURSELVES!
