Oh yeah they're slowing new content production to focus on the current roster is what they say before releasing power-crept content. Complain they've squandered any good they could do with changes to the current roster, and they just re-state the purpose of the balance changes like you've said nothing like you didn't already know it even though you yourself stated the purpose of said changes.

Burrow beam with mod pierce does about as much DPS as revokers pre-nerf. It pierces through all mechs which is just a better version of revoker's perk which pierces everything on the way to and from its targets. And it has more than twice the ideal range. This weapon was so clearly designed so people would equip it to multiple mechs like revoker before it. Blatant cash grab. This weapon is getting NERFed 2 years down the line for sure. Hopefully sooner but then whales are going to complain about NERFing a weapon they just bought. And if they NERF it as soon as it goes f2p then f2ps complaints that stuff gets NERFed when it goes F2P are vindicated. Strap in, we're going to have another 2 years of stale META
