I am playing with this hangar to get achievements. As you see the hangar power is 926.
No fancy weapons, Gauss Rifles and AUTOCANNONS!

the game detects when you lower your power and so matches you with higher level players, however not always.
i once lowered my power and got overwhelmed with many higher tier mechs and weapons. the only time this didn't happen was when i did it very slowly, playing a few matches and lowering my power slightly afterwards.

You're right it started stabilizing slowly now, but occasional whales do show up
We can't take any more of this game. It's possible, even now, 2 players in the top 500.. first, second, third place. All with a revoker, a real piece of garbage... I think the game has come to an end, these sell-offs, this game system, give the impression that it is about to close due to bankruptcy...
