Lore: Biogear Lab

🏞️ Curious about our latest Map - the Biogear Lab? Read this post and find out the intriguing story behind this mysterious facility!

A year ago, very few people had heard of Biogear. That was, of course, by design. Its main facility was tucked away on a picture-perfect island paradise, hidden far away from prying tourists. Quietly, it carried out the orders of its parent company - Everlife. It meddled with genetics, grafted organisms together, and experimented recklessly with life’s building blocks. Thanks to Torchlight and Chimera, the company’s nefarious work has been exposed. Biogear has gone from being a word whispered in rumours, to a company being shouted about in headlines.

i

The exact coordinates of the Biogear Lab Arena are being kept secret while investigations continue. While the Mech Arena League continues to host controlled battles - for the sake of transparency - the location is classified. Not even the Pilots know exactly where they are. All they will admit, is that the facility can be found on a private archipelago, somewhere in the southern Pacific Ocean. The island itself is known by locals as Aulelei, a Samoan word meaning beautiful. With Biogear ousted, it may finally begin to honor its name once again.

i

It’s safe to say that the Arena is under new management. Torchlight and Chimera are pushing forward a takeover bid, promising to transform the island into a nature preserve for anyone affected by Biogear’s experiments. While there’s a long road ahead, the most important thing is that Biogear has been stopped. The Kraken monster they were attempting to create, failed. For now, Everlife’s plans have been thwarted. But Chimera and Torchlight need to keep momentum going. Everlife is maintaining innocence, but lying is practically company policy.

i

As part of the investigation, the Biogear Lab has been gutted. Every document and piece of tech was taken away to be meticulously documented and analysed. They recovered 357 pages of notes, 3 life-size dinosaur models and 13 lab coats, although the scientists have not been found. All that’s left are the buildings. If their acquisition is successful, Chimera and Torchlight plan to keep the facility as an Arena to help raise money for the nature preserve. While its legacy so far is shrouded in darkness, many hope that a brighter future is on the horizon.

This map is great, it's better than the ones that are geometrical and square. Good addition to the mech world. Also what are the latest promo codes? They keep asking for them in the chat, I'll relay the message to them.

This is such an engaging update — the mystery surrounding Biogear Lab and its transformation into a nature preserve is fascinating! Speaking of feedback and evaluations, if you’re ever interested in how public experiences shape transparency and trust, this Raising Canes survey offers a great example of how customer opinions can help drive improvements. Transparency and responsiveness really do make a difference, whether in biotech stories or everyday dining.
