True, but there is way way bigger problems than the bots RN that must be addressed. Such as the people SP hanger dropping to cheat prizes from tournaments and playoff events, plus the other events. Then there is the new mod rules, and the old (8+ month old now) account stagnant mechs with mods people keep at low ranks, purposfully to cheat the system and have a major advantage in battle vs new account that can not have mods. Stagnant mech ranks on old accounts is now just as popular a way to cheat as SP dropping a hanger. Then there is the new hot garbage dumpster fire Hanger Showdown, which has the worst match making in a VG I have personally ever seen in over 30+ years of gaming. I can't even start with the numerous problems with the HS game mode, most people have tried it a handful of times with the same garbage results with the match making, never to touch it again because they are so frustrated with the mode. Why they even spent time on a 2v2 mode is beyond me, as 2v2 is the least played or wanted mode to begin with. A new team based mode, such as a harvest game, (each team collects tags dropped from dead mechs, ops team tag =1 point, teammate tag =a point denied to ops team, first to 20 wins or highest when timed out) or any new team based mode would have been a hit. Anyway, the bots are not bad enough of a problem to over shadow these massive problems that need attention unfortunatel. But in the future a fix for these issues would be nice. Just like asking players what they want for a new game mode, before they put time into crap like a 2v2 mode nobody asked for or wanted.
