My take on ECRs is exactly that, also, some aren't worth spinning for - especially 6 energy weapons. Considering the ECRs give 8 and 6 energy weapons for credits alternatively, I'd rather wait for minigun 8 if you love that weapon.
Minigun needs a maxed legendary reload implant to function well, therefore a rank 6 pilot is needed as well.
Final thing. It might take a while to get something. For example, the seeker you want is available in the gear hub for 9,375 acoins - although the ECR is cheaper, you might as well wait and get it at rank 5 for that price.
