So, without a doubt, Pasha loves to let people cheat.
I have seen in videos that Pasha is the lead developer. He has said that he doesn't like how some people set up hangers to take advantage of the game. But does he figure out a way to fix it? Of course not. Which means he put that part in because they love the people that spend more money or the players that have been around longer and take advantage of how the game is made to beat on the beginner players. Action speak louder then words.
I just did 4 hanger battles on my secondary account which is at about 12k inventory power. Every single match my team would barely break 25 IP together, while the oposite team would be well over 40K IP. How is that fair. It's just crazy on how long we have been callng them out on it, an not one thing has changed.
Now don't get me wrong, Pasha seems like a great dude. He seems happy and loves talking about the new stuff in the game. But we don't need new stuff right now, and they are kind of nerfing the wrong stuff. Some stuff needed the nerf, but not all of it. If only matchmaking was fixed to be fair, it would fix most of the problems. So nerfing revokers was ok, but if I only have the 6 version, I can't win against someone that has 10s and higher, so it did nothing in that case. And you still see full endgame mech hangers playing against people with maybe one epic and the rest are lower. And endgame mech is still an endgame mech even if it only has 3 or 4 stars. It's so simple to see.
The power rating needs a huge revamp. Just a starting ground would be that there is a bigger difference inbetween the types of mechs power rating. Like common mechs start at 100, uncommon start at 200, rare start at 300, epic start at 400 or 500, and legendary start at 600 or 700. To break it down as it is right now, going to look at 1 star mechs(even though I know most don't start that low now). A 1 star paragon is at 71 power which is the exact same as Redox and Scorpious. In no universe does that make sense. Something needs to be done.
