They would lose more if they compensated for NERFs. Are you dumb?
All the new stuff noone wanted like what? Two mechs and a weapon set in 3 months? That seems about normal pace for new releases.
If you want to know why it's because people were waiting until a bit after the re-balance was over to know what to invest their resources in. The new META is just taking shape.
When have players been compensated for a NERF in any other game? Name me one.
As I see it, you bought a digital toy. When you did so you agreed its effectiveness could be changed. Said digital toy is one of several digital toys that all are marketed at the same base value. If they're to maintain the same base value, it's better for them to not have a clear best. It's better for the game too if there's not a clear best as it would quickly get boring if there was.
Plus in regards to it being a digital toy it's not like they've made it so you can play with them any less. I really think people need to quit whining about NERFs
No they'd actually not have the player who already paid for something that got take away take the lose, are you dumb!? Why should we have to take the L ? Boot licker
Got taken away? They never revoked your ability to use a weapon. I know it feels bad to have a weapon you purchased become less effective. But I'm no plarium bootlicker. On the contrary I call out plarium on a regular basis.
See I just think it's ridiculous to ask for compensation for balancing a game which is something the developers should be doing. They don't take resources from everyone who owns a weapon when they buff them so why would they compensate for NERFs? And why should they?
There's also plarium's terms of service, which you agreed to, which states that items can change. But even if you ignore that, again balance changes are good development practice for an online game. Why should they compensate you for good development practice?
And just think about your logic. Plarium's profits must be down because they didn't throw away money doing such a thing?
I defend plarium in this instance because it's in my interest for them to NERF certain things if need be to keep the balance of power in equipment from spiraling out of control. I'm f2p so I have to grind for my equipment. If equipment power creeps up too quickly then I can't keep up. So I get it feels bad. But if I let people who complain that they put so much money into the game that their weapons shouldn't be NERFed control the balance of the game then I would be losing. And think of it this way, your things could be re-buffed in the future.
So yeah again I'm no bootlicker, you're just a whiner

homie wargaming makers of wows has done it before. compensation for major changes/nerfs
This post is pointless.
Also, plarium might recently made less money because of their generosity giving away TONS of new and semi-new legendary items at a significant or total reduction in price, many of those items not even technically being available for in-game currency yet... And you decide to complain??
Plarium releases strong content == people complain
Plarium doesn't release strong content == people still complain
This is why we can't have nice things people
Okay, but you know people have a right to voice their opinions. If my 3k hanger has to face down 14k hangers, which should be a simple fix tho plariium will never divulge their match making algorithms, and I've come to expect and accept that, it's a bit tart to have some loudmouth who once threatened me to act as a rah rah squad for the developers.
if there is no tournament you can try to complete tasks on your mechs.
you're righ, I will also have a request for mech arena u guys shuould give credits or something else in return for the max mechs cause i keep getting the blueprints eve though i have the mech maxed witch doesn't help in anything so i will just want a refound pls

I was talking about matchmaking?
People do have the right to voice their options, but when all people do is complain and complain with very little actual helpful feedback, not to mention either being hateful or posting it in a hateful place (eg this forum is filled with toxic people), do you really expect them to listen?
I saw someone mention about how Plarium should make their MM system publicly viewable, which would be a TERRIBLE idea. Just think about how many exploits tankers would find! You think the current tanking situation is bad? Just wait 'till they look at the code and find some specific flag to have any matchup they want!
And what would this solve? Seriously how actually would this help? It would give people a deeper understanding of the MM, which would pretty much only help people who are looking to get easier matches.. Which I remind you after a certain point becomes tanking...

I didn't say the code. Your moral outrage at players doing what the developers allow them to do has been noted and just makes you a hypocrite when you defame people for doing what is permissible by the developers while defending the developers against people complaining about it.

I didn't say you said code. If you'd read my comment you'd've seen that I said I saw someone suggesting they make the code freely viewable, which I believe was a terrible idea.
Also the devs don't want tanking, that's a known fact only an idiot will deny, because it massively drives off new players, which are needed for growth.
They have made an continue to make efforts to prevent it, as can be very obvious at times when you're cought in the crossfire.
It in no way makes me a hypocrite, I'm completely against tanking, were I a hypocrite I would hate on it and yet do it myself.
I just prefer to take a more optimistic, and dare I say fare - as a game developer myself - approach to the problem, as it's not easy, far from it, to satisfy everyone, especially when it comes to something like matchmaking. It's genuinely a difficult problem given there are many things to account for. Tanking in its current form actually didn't use to exist, but eventually Plarium changed to matchmaking to make it more fair, given it was based on XP and not SP, which made the p2w aspect actually incredibly difficult to fight.
I'll ask you, how would you design a system that reliably and consistently allows all players to win more than 50% of the battles they play? I'll see if you answer correctly. No hate, don't worry. The other people I've asked this have all underthought about such a problem.
