Participation in the Crate Rush Events is optional, so you can simply skip them if you are not interested.

I think it depends on your fighting style. Voltis needs to be about 80m to use its nerfed ability. That means you need to get close but maintain cover from rockets and snipers, and also not be seen for eclipses etc... Best to pair it with 100m weapons, one large magazine and one low so when one is reloading the other is still going. Then take a central point with cover and protect it killing anything that comes close. It's a mix of defense and attack. It won't always be appropriate to win, but it's what it is good for if that's your style.

Guardian, just doesn't suit me at all. It is so slow and you have to be so close to use it's ability. Still rocking the paragon tho, because it's speed boost gets you and heavy weaponry where you want to be at the start of the game.
