The matchmaking is completely unfair for f2p players. Everyone I have faced so far has had the following;
Revoker/podgun
Mods that give them shields so I have to unload all my ammo just to remove the shield
Legendary mechs
F2p players have none of these, so they will get ****.

Hello! Not really. The Mode is still being tuned as it's in Beta. We are still tuning it.
Confirmed: the first Matchmaking improvements are expected by the end of the week 🪛

Since starting I have slowly improved weapons and mechs, got up to Division 2, then suddenly lucky if I win 1 in 15 matches, opponents have fully advanced mechs and weapons, usually those that can only be bought. Dropped to Division 5. My system crash and shields appear to have no effect but mine is constantly totally frozen until destroyed.
So will the battles in the new Mode count towards the achievements and pilot XP? @CrystalDrew
At this moment, it's unlikely. We will consider your suggestion, though 😉
