Hi there! Our community spans across the globe, so due to time zone differences, it’s not always possible to match players with similar Squad Power — that’s why bots are sometimes used.
These bots can vary in performance. Some are equipped well and put up a good fight, while others may fall short, as they don’t strategize like real players. We're actively working on improving their AI to make them behave more like humans.
You may also notice a few bots in the new Hangar Showdown Mode. If you’re not a fan of playing alongside AI, I still recommend giving this mode a try. While it’s still in Beta and has its quirks, improvements are on the way.
In fact, the first matchmaking updates for Hangar Showdown are expected by the end of this week!
Thanks for the reply, but why don't you just let players know which are bots? That wouldn't take much to do and Aldo would help the player adequately guage their skill. And I prefer to play cpc since it requires different tactics since you have to take and hold something. Knowledge is power, you shouldn't keep it from us humans.
Here is another problem, now you seem to pear me with one human and but them on the opposite team, but then give me crap bots that spend their time getting in my way. I kill 11, my human opponent kills 3, and I lose. How easy would it be to put all the humans on one team or spilt them up evenly is there are sis or more? Make sense?
A the last couple of matches with 4 bots one Human on each side:
1st was on the boat, the first 30 seconds was 3 bots and me lodged together in the exit. I could of jostled out I suppose but I wanted to see how long it would take be for one of the bots freed itself. Won that one even though only one bot was running around for the first 30 seconds of the match.
2nd I lost, all my bots were killed with the first two minutes, and I still had four mechs to use.
Come on really? That's not fair.
Now listen to me, I know you most probably won't put the work in, but when a clan reaches it limit, split it in two but keep them joined, a clan becomes a platoon, two clans become a company, two companies become a battalion, or what ever you like, but the program keeps an eye on whose online and sends invitations to join in a battle, even telling you if you want to wait for another member currently in a battle, you'd have to round Robin to try and make sure the matches were equal but it can be mix of different hanger powers as long as it's roughly equal. That would be 120 people another layer would bring it to 240, real people who could fight with each other against another army.

I like how you removed the comment calling out your excuse entirely. So now we're silencing the truth, are we?
I'll put it back up for you so hopefully you can actually respond instead of trying to silence the truth.
The reason given why bots are necessary is absolute bulls**t. They tell you all the time they need the bots because sometimes the matchmaker can't find enough people with similar squad power. So we told you guys 90 million times extend the matchmaking timer by just 30 seconds, and get more players in the matches. You always told us then you didn't want to upset late game players with how long matchmaking takes in response. But now you come along with hangar showdown with a matchmaking timer of 80s.
Mind you 80 seconds is 167% longer than the matchmaking timer for any other f*cking game mode. And I don't see anyone complaining that the matchmaking for hangar showdown takes too damn long.
So enough with the lame f*cking excuses. We know what the bots are really for. You really just need the bots to rig the matches. That you keep giving your stupid excuses for using the rigged bots, and silencing players pointing out your lame excuses, is just more proof mech arena is a FAKE GAME

They've also said in the past that they CAN'T change the matchmaking timer because they would have to change the entire system.. yet here we are with a changed matchmaking timer of 80 seconds... Drew's words or any other plarium employees words cannot be trusted.
Funny there's no response to this but it's been edited.
Also funny the word "sh*t" is censored but "f*ck" isn't. Is "f*ck" no longer profanity that's against the rules or have I just used it so often it doesn't register at this point?

Please stop. No explicit language here. It's the last warning.

If you haven't noticed, the new Mode uses new Matchmaking, and there are a few bots. The approaches are quite different, so "We know what the bots are really for" is not much suitable here tbh.
I honestly don't care about the bots one way or another. Never have. As long as if I have one, my opponent also has one of the same strength and skill, I'm great.
However, I DO have a problem with the matchmaking for the new mode. I'll address it in another post as it goes off the bots topic.
