Right now, we're running a beta launch of the new Hangar Showdown feature and actively gathering feedback. Once we've reviewed all the input, our team will plan the next steps and keep you updated.

In the meantime, feel free to enjoy 5v5 Mode in Tournaments. And don’t forget to give Hangar Showdown a try — it was designed as an advanced version of 2v2 Mode. Who knows? It might just become your new favorite!

If you look in the comments of the official 2v2 Hanger Showdown YouTube video you'll get all the input you'll need. 90% or more don't like it or at least want the old version back. Maybe in time things in Hanger Showdown will get "tuned", in the meantime just put it in the onslaught tab or give it it's own tab (a beta tab) and bring back the real game modes. Taking modes away to force people into a new mode wasn't a good idea.

So are they coming back or not? And if this is designed as a revamped version of 2v2, why is 5v5 gone too? This is the main gamemmode in my eyes it used to be the sole mode in tournament. I practiced and warmed up by playing 5v5 deathmatch so I could perform the best I could in tournament. So I can't warm up for 5v5 tournament anymore. I already had no way to warm up for FFA. So thanks

I agree, 5v5 going away too does not make any sense.  

Honestly, it has funneled all of the players into CPC and that includes all the SP droppers.  For me, it has highlighted just how broken matchmaking has gotten.  I dont' run with mods, so fighting player after player with mods is just demoralizing.  Plus then you have the players who are running without pilots and it gets worse.  And then you add in the cherry on top, the issues they have with the power scoring for weapons and mechs AND the grade of said items (not enough difference in the scoring of these items and we face waaayyy too many end game legendaries, even if we don't have a single legendary mech or weapon in our hanger).  The game is now bordering on unplayable for me.

Seriously, they have known about this for years and haven't done anything.  I don't think they understood just how much their player base was spread across the various game modes.  Now that they are concentrated in only 1 mode, its going to heck fast.

have fun?? you're ruining the game, who knows what you think you've done but you're completely destroying it, and if you don't fix the damned REVOCKER, it will be worse than before as always. THE GAME IS NOW TOTAL TRASH AND YOU HAVE THE COURAGE TO SAY GO HAVE FUN??? Poor thing. BOY IF THIS IS THE FIRST STEP OF YOUR LONG PROMISED.....WE'RE WORKING ON IT..STAY TUNED....., I REALLY HAVE TO SAY IT.. .. WE HAVE NO HOPE ANYMORE. For me the game is now totally compromised, the new mode is a disappointment and it's pitiful... revocker continues to be a pain in the ass, more and more players are FULL REVOCKER AND PODGUN. Please restore the game to how it was before and do not make any other changes. You will only cause harm, as you have done up to now.

It all seems like a push to get people to pay through the pay walls or fully suffer. Taking away popular game modes, adding a new but very limited play time mode (using a-coins for a few more battles isn't worth it) to get you mod parts that will make you think you need to rank up mechs to use the mods you were able to get/level up or rank up with. It's a funnel to push people through paywalls. Put everyone in cpc mode and limit the rest of the game modes making the new player base pay through paywalls. It's the big matchmaking update, we the players are to pay our way through paywalls to rank things up and fix matchmaking on our own with our money, they're just paving the path for us... go get spending pilots! Lol

BRING BACK REGULAR 2V2 DEATHMATCH AS WELL!!!!

Just an FYI if 5vs5 regular is gone so am I. Tournament's are boring. Same map over and over. The new 2vs2 just is not fun. I know it's beta, but if you have to remove 5vs5 to get people to play it that's telling you something.

So, does CD only work like 2-3 days every other week?  Its wierd not getting ANY response.

5v5 is back, so that's something.
