I seen a few people say that they are going to release a new 2v2 mode... I'm not hopeful but maybe they will release it with a longer matchmaking timer and no ai bots. Yeah I know, wishful thinking. It'll most likely come back extremely broken 

Thanks for the info! I wonder why they removed the old version before the new version is ready. Anyway, hopefully it will not be long.. or broken :-).

We can only hope and that has gotten us nowhere and with their track record, it'll show back up unlikeable and broken. Yeah I'm very negative when it comes to this game and it's devs but they've given nothing to show they listen or care so it keeps me in the negative just like the game does if you don't continuously spend money on shop novelties.

2v2 is dead.  You're right, why would it be terminated if it was to be updated? If that was the case mech arena would be down more than it runs.  If there was actually going to be an update there would be a major announcement with the usual bells and whistles.  Instead what do we have?  A quiet death with nothing said but a whisper of a promise of future upgrades that none of us will see in our lifetimes.  That's what Plarium does when it unilaterally decides it doesn't want to offer something anymore.  Just like it did with the vault blitz.  Another fine example of public relations brought to you by Plarium.  Bye bye 2v2.

Wrote this before anything was released about 2v2 Hanger Showdown and it seems my wishful thinkings came true, longer matchmaking timer and no ai bots.. unfortunately so did my prediction that it will be broken, and it is. What a waste of time that could have been used fixing the matchmaking problems that everyone has been waiting years for. They are wasting our time while using us for money.
