Hello! That's an interesting idea, but we should investigate more how it would affect the battle balances. I mean, it can lead to abuse of the system as the majority of our Maps are not that big, and the Abilities of our Mechs are quite diverse. Thus, someone could have more benefit from it.
3-5 seconds is a long time. I understand the frustration, I really do, but think about the amound of damage that can be done during that time. Say you are trying to capture a beacon and your opponent notices you closing in on it. They switch mechs to jump to the beacon. You (and a couple of your buddies) will die before you can even scratch that defender in 3-5 seconds.
The only way this should be considered is if the spawning mech is not allowed to use abilities or weapons for the same amount of time. They can move, but that's it. Spawning mechs already get a 1-2 second grace period.
Don't get me wrong, I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND the frustration of being put up against opponents who steamroll you. It sucks! But lets not break something else to fix one thing.
PS Just reread your message and I have a question, what do you mean by "base"? Are you talking about the original spawn in point? I might change my reply if I know for certain. 😎
I've said, in the recent survey, that when my Deathwalker gets killed and reanimates it should reanimate back at the initial spawn point.....reason is that 99% of the time after reanimation I'm immediately killed again so that sort of nullifies the benefit of the reanimation! Anyone agree with that? Thoughts?
