When can everyone have access MODS? New players are quiting!

As a new player, I'm finding it very difficult to stay competitive and enjoy the game once I reach the 4–5 star progression level. At this stage:

I have no access to mods, while many opponents are using highly optimized mechs with maxed out legendary multilayer MODS.

I’m constantly matched against players who lack real skill but dominate simply because of overpowered setups—often using a single mech to wipe out my entire squad with minimal damage taken.

This creates an unbalanced and frustrating experience for new players(less than 1year players)

To the Developers:

How do you expect new players to stick around and keep grinding until we reach full 6-star mechs when we’re punished every step of the way?

There needs to be better matchmaking, or at least mod access to everyone, not just old players, to make mid-tier play more fair and rewarding.

Wait, so even though the feedback was requested about the mods on discord, and basicly everyone who responded said it was unfair how it is now, you still aren't looking into changing it? Why was the feedback about mods requested then?

What type of huge updates...? Are you going to separate the f2ws and the p2w in two different rooms?

Hello! No important game changes can be performed immediately. We are working with the results we received. If anything's going to be reworked in the future, we will let you guys know 👌

Such changes are not planned. Any kind of paying speeds up one's progress and provides early access to the novelties, but it doesn't guarantee winning.

Great to see positive changes. I am totally ok and willing to pay to play this awesome game. But the mods is something I can't even pay to get it, just because I was not playing the game early enough is not too fair imo.

wesleybro .. I'm not siding on any sides. But my guess and if i can remember this...correct me if I'm wrong anyone. But I believe you can get your mods when you open division level. How far along are you with you game. If you dont mind me asking. Or was that the answer's that your kinda looking for ? Because If your just beging in you game and have high tier Weapons/Mechs the game is going to automatically assume you as a high tier player and it will put you in a high tier match and that where the game will wreck you. Just trying to help you out before this game will hurt you financially. if you ask in the ingame chat some people will help you. But don't go in there spamming or become annoying. Because people do tend to become rude . Thats just a in game chat tip.

about 4-5star mechs and weapons. this is where I experience the most difficulty against players with MODS. had no issues at 3star beginer level. I know you will recommend getting everything to 6star so I can use mods. but upgrading from 4.55star to 6star, if playing everyday, my guess is about 1year. imaging 1year grind against players with MODS(unfair advantage). This is like a barrier honestly.

To Developers: you guys should try play a few games with your fellows with MODS while you can't use MODS, same power rating, then tell me how you do in the game, then I will believe you.

From what i know, mods can be put on 3 star mechs too. i myself don't have this limit at all so i don't understand why people seem to not be able to put mods on lower tier mechs.

That’s exactly what I’m struggling to understand,

the developers added this rule specifically for new players, seemingly to make the game harder and drive them away.

It’s no wonder most matches are full of bots; real players are quitting because of these kinds of ridiculous decisions.

When I click on the spot where mods are suppose to be, it clearly says "To install mods, you need to upgrade this Mech's rank to 6 stars". So the developers made it so older players can cheat this way. Supposedly it was changed to this about 2 1/2 months before I started playing. For some reason, the developers and the community manager can't seem to grasp the knowledge that some people being able to add mods that early while others can't, seriously unbalances the game.

Well said — that’s exactly my point. This system also encourages veteran players to cheat by setting up low-star hangars just to dominate new players. They have main hangar 12,000SP, and 2nd hanger with only 1,500 SP, running 1 Dash mech with Revoker6 and maxed multilayer mods — killing 45 mechs in a single match. you tell me there is no balance issue?

It gives the game a terrible reputation as pay-to-win, even though it really isn’t.
