The reasonable match-up with human players was short-lived. I've only played 7 tourny matches so far (heat 1) and already I've faced at least two human opponents with much more powerful hangars, the latest being a 4k+ hangar. Just his/her Nomad can one-shot every one of my mechs :-).

Hello! There is indeed a minor ongoing AB test within the Tournament mode that is connected with the distribution of bot teams/builds for different small groups of players. That is why your Tournament experience might be a bit unusual. This test will last one Tournament (week) only.

Why i am facing a 5k Hangar when im only 2.5k? Is this fair? 

Because plarium does not want to balance the game, doesnt know how (not likely) or just doesnt care. Years has passed and matchmaking still sucks, Crystaldrew can say whateve he wants, 90% or more are lies. Its only one thing about making a game of this kind enjoyable, a good matchmaking. After that you can really pay for something, or play 24hs a day to get it. 

Best Part is there is a sp dropper Being number 1 in my group, now If iam in group A facing opponents with 4star Hangars and the sp dropper is in group B facing 2-3star Hangars i cant reach him by No means.

This is really below standard and poor communication by your team ?!?!

This is the fourth successive test where Plarium has regurgitated the same fundamental flaw - totally mismatched hangars, with low powered hangars facing high powered humans and bots. What's the point? Are you hoping there will be more people encouraged into buying equipment than the people you'll alienate? Simple business advice - that's not a good strategy if you want to be around longer term.

Stop these ridiculous tests please. Your next step should be an honest description of what you're trying to achieve. Maybe you'll get some good ideas from this community before it becomes hostile.

This is a good game. I enjoy it and i enjoy interacting with other players, and in appreciation I have made an occasional small purchase. Build on the positivity and focus on the real problems that your community actually cares about.

We are really sorry that we didn't have a chance to inform the players in advance. I understand your emotions and it's sad that you appeared to be in the test group. After the end of this week, the usual Matchmaking will be back to all the players.

Thank you for responding, but it is more unfortunate that we still aren't hearing what all of this has been for. And what about the future? Have you guys achieved whatever it is you wanted to achieve? If not, do you plan to continue to work on it? Keep the community informed please.

Most importantly, I assume matchmaking will go back to what it was before the first test in 2024. Is that right? If so, that has its own issues. The problem with these tests was they created new issues without fixing the existing ones.

The work is in progress 🪛 It's too soon to state anything concrete about the results of the Tests, and they are likely to come back in the future. Still, step by step, we are moving on. Our team will do our best to get you informed before any future Test.

Yes, current Tournament Matchmaking is the same as it was before the first test in 2024.

Really???   After all the anger and rage.  After all the lost opportunities for currency and wasted WEEKS.  You're still going to subject your players to this?

Thanks for the confirmation. I'll repeat here something I've said elsewhere as well - please be more communicative. It's not enough to say "a test is on". What are you actually planning to change / fix? The sooner you announce it to the community, the better, and you will get feedback on whether that's actually what people want (assuming you value such feedback).

Off the top of my head, there are at least two major problems with matchmaking that I've seen raised (there may be more), both of which are related to squad / hangar power - 

• SP dropping - one or two powerful mechs/weapons plus remaining weak mechs/weapons so that the powerful mechs outgun opponents with balanced hangars but similar SP.
• Power ratings of mechs and weapons that don't reflect their true power. This causes people with lower tier mechs and weapons to sometimes face players with predominantly legendary mechs and weapons, because the hangar powers are roughly equivalent.

Your tests did not address either of these, and instead went off on a total tangent. That's why everyone is upset. Instead of fixing what everyone's been talking about, you (Plarium.. not you personally :-) ) seemingly deliberately changed something that didn't need fixing. 

If you didn't intend for that to happen, you need to find a better way of testing such changes. Echoing GothIxkin's sentiment, I really hope you have test servers!
