It's interesting to hear your perspective on Eclipse. While it's true that a well-played Eclipse can be impactful, it's important to remember that it's a single mech in a 5v5 match. By focusing your team's firepower on it, you can effectively neutralize its threat.

Given Eclipse's relatively low HP pool, it's vulnerable to focused attacks. Perhaps exploring different strategies, such as coordinating attacks or utilizing counter-builds, could help mitigate its impact. Here's a tip: you can mark it for your teammates by aiming towards it and showing the attack marker. This works even when Eclipse is cloaked, and is extremely useful in the heat of battle.

Additionally, the current testing phase with tournament matchmaking might be introducing relatively lower-tier bots (depending on your current tournament bracket), making them more susceptible to damage and less able to counter high-damage weapons like those often used on popular Eclipse builds (Revokers, Storm Racks, Ember Guns etc). 

 Yes it is.  The results posted were all accomplished with strictly the Eclipse. What you say about the  hit point has certainly not been my experience. It's not  unusual to see the Eclipse with anywhere from 25-35 kills in a round of 5v5 or free-for-all. 

 While the  strategy you suggest is useful it takes  multiple players to focus on one Mech that pops on and off radar while trying to deal with  the  rest of their teammates at the same time. When a good Surge pilot and Eclipse pilot team up it is all but impossible to defeat unless your team has an Eclipses to even the odds. 

In all honesty, my experience with Eclipse is strictly limited to facing (and using) it at endgame levels. (12k+ SP) At this level, Eclipse is an extremely good and useful mech, but is balanced at the end of the day because it's honestly not too hard to kill if you are aware of it on the battlefield. I understand that it might be an issue at lower SP levels, since SP discrepancies do exist where opponents aren't using the same level of gear all the time. However, I still feel that calling for nerfs to a mech based on that is kinda overkill. 

Eclipse has an unfair advantage. The very thing that makes the game fun, figuring out how to beat use your special abilities, is completely taken away by a trash mech that can just run around the battle field unfazed. You don't even need to be good at the game to use Eclipse. Just turn on his ability and run through everyone else's defense. If you use Eclipse, you really are basically paying just to get wins. You have little, to no, actual skill. He just needs to be taken out of the game completely. 

Thanks for the shout out 😅 when playing a comparable skilled player, I won't achieve that kill number. Plus, it's not even my best mech 😎 I've played each map hundreds, if not thousands of times so I know where to be most of the time to maximize my kills, especially in 5v5.

You sure about that? I'll use any other mech and do the same 🤦 orion, surge, ember gun, and storm racks can be obtained in the gearhub by f2p so you should be able to do the same if skill doesn't matter 🤷‍♂️ this is 30 kills, more than the 29 I got in the screenshot of the poster. The person I was playing was able to kill my eclipse or I wouldn't have been able to achieve triple mvp...

Eclipse is not invincible 🤦 Just because it uses stealth and doesn't show on radar, doesn't mean it can't be killed. Maybe you just don't have the skill to deal with it 🤷‍♂️

Good for you. You get a pat on the back. There, now you happy? I do the same with my mechs without having to use a trash, cheater mech. It needs to be removed...period.

Wasn't looking for a 'pat on the back'. Just disproving your comment. If you can do the same with other mechs, why are you even crying? By your logic, the mechs you use are also cheater mechs 🤦😅 the fact of the matter is every mech can be countered by another mech. Nothing is invincible...

Hello, I must say that he wasn't being "aggressive". Calling someone a clown is not as aggressive as it seems. So word choice should be considered when correcting someone, so that no unnecessary debates arise. However, you are right about calling people out of their name. This should be prohibited, slander should not be tolerated. Though, you say "friendly tone". I must say that this entire forum is never, ever friendly, the only one who does not complain is you and only you. Or the new players that had just joined the game and are not aware of how plarium works. Also, there are so many people that break the rules, yet a lot rarely get punished, for example, pogster. Yet, you call out mr. blonde for calling someone a name as simple as 'clown'.  If thats aggresive, then a lot of people should be getting muted every day, all day.

The rules only apply to some of the community.. I've seen their beloved S1LENCE call people clowns more than a few times, especially on the M.A. official discord server where it bullies and picks on a lot of people with its words. You're dealing with weak bullies and shady scammers when it comes to plarium games and the people that work for or pay their way to feel relevant in this rigged dying game.

The rules are equal for everyone on the FORUM. The Discord server has different rules and less formal terms regarding the discussions. Nonetheless, both here and there, we are against aggressiveness, name-calling, etc.

As I said before, we respect all feedback, no matter if it's positive or negative. In both ways, it helps us. We don't respect rude hate speech though.

In the past there was someone on here calling ME names against the "rules" and YOU gave ME a warning for it. I got warned of being muted or banned by YOU because someone else was being rude and YOU never once warned them. YOU definitely pick and choose who the rules apply to. YOU cannot be and shouldn't be trusted! 

It's up to you whether you trust me or not—I'm okay with that. However, I have no purpose in misleading or misinforming the members of our community.

I warned you because I detected something violating in your messages. A warning is a warning though, just a peaceful reminder from me that one shouldn't cross the lines and be friendly or at least not aggressive. 

I don't deny that another user with whom you were talking might have been rude as well. The point is that everyone should respect everyone, not just separate persons. 

The thing you detected me violating was me quoting the other person calling me names! I quoted them calling me a name and you warned me. You are full of it Drew, you are now lying and misleading for personal reasons instead of just lying and misleading for the companies sake. I wish I could mute you so I don't have to see your paid lies being spread to make you look professional, you most certainly are not! 

Please reread my previous message. I don't see any lies out here. As I said, the rules are the rules; please, let's follow them and don't cross the lines. If I see a violation, my actions are done accordingly. I didn't want to offend you with a warning, but only to remind you about the rules. The warning was meant to be considered by the person with whom you were talking as well. Hope that now it's more clear.

The main thing that's clear is that you are full of yourself. It's also clear that you spread misinformation for a paycheck. It's clear that you cannot be trusted!

I might go around and around with CD about answers given and, more importantly, the direction of the game, but it's not personal (from either of us as far as I can tell).  I cannot fault anyone who is forced to give the company's line as answers for thier job.  CD has to put food on the table and a roof over family's heads.  That deserves respect, not personal attacks.
