I woke up early (05:00) only 1 hour ago, seeking for the phone number after I noticed the issue persisted. 
It's a bummer that I wasn't online earlier.
So the patience better be there.

The game is still pretty slug-ish for me. Btw, the issue happens at least at 4 UTC, might be before that, since I tried to login at that time and got the same as djmoody.
